2. [+3,348, -100] They got consent, why is it considered sexual harassment...

3.[+3,001, -74] She obviously agreed to the event because she wanted it/consented ã…‹ã…‹

4. [+2,481, -86] So many weird things are considered controversial now ã…‹ã…‹ã…‹

5. [+366, -17] The members asked if she was fine with it and she consented and she's being all annoying about it now

6. [+352, -11] B1A4 are probably the most taken aback by all of this, why blame them ã…‹ã…‹

those girls accepted it when they got up there, its not like B1A4 ran into the audience to grab them

sexual harrasement is something that should be taken seriously, its sad to see people accuse someone of it so freely

Their agency WM Entertainment rep responded to the controversy and told domestic outlet Star News, "It was done after prior approval from the event winners early on... The captured scene shows the members conducting a 'drama scene parody' segment with fans. The atmosphere at the venue was good, and considering the Muslim culture, we are aware that the MC asked for consent [from the winners] once more... It all depends on one's perspective. We will be more considerate of various cultures and customs in the future, and we will work hard to prepare a fanmeeting that all global fans can enjoy. We will be more careful."

Another rep stated, "The rumors of molestation are only false rumors... The event was a parody of movies and dramas, and prior to the fanmeeting, we announced the event and received approval [from the winners] beforehand."

its out of topic but once upon a time years ago I watched SJ concert in Malaysia (because they didnt visit my country ffuuuuuu) and I was really anticipating the highlight of the show, Eunhyuk Donghae couple sexy dance with female dancers while striping. you know what-- it never happened. Eunhyuk&Donghae only removed their vest and that's it. no girls, no bareskin....

later my friend told me that it was modified to adapt with Malaysia culture.

it's kind of weird to me that the company that organzied the fanmeet even included this fanservice event in the first place. I think if they're Malaysian themselves they would have known it could be an issue, especially when a lot of Malay media will use anything to make kpop look worse.

w/e though, Korean acts are already hated on enough by Malaysian netizens. anyone with logical reasoning can see this wasn't harassment.

wait, what did they do? she consented to what?

a forehead kiss. there's more info in this thread http://onehallyu.com/topic/132029-internet-users-claim-k-pop-stars-molested-malay-girls-on-stage-during-concert-see-more-at-httpwwwthemalaymailonlinecommalaysiaarticleintern/

the organizer should have realized that such parody event will cause controversy in Malaysia and people will make a big deal out of it. that's why there's strict regulations for concerts and fanmeeting to be held in malaysia not just for kpop acts

there's no way the organizer can't expect it to happen

The medias in Malaysia overexaggerated this so much it's hella annoying. They'll do anything to bring down Kpop (a genre that is rising) so that people will now listen to their mainland artists. If only their mainland artists will improve instead of staying stagnant every year.
