How do you feel about children?

How do you feel about them? Do you like them, sympathize with them, do you have patience while dealing with them? Or do they simply piss you off to the point where you just can't stand them?

[MINI RANT]

For me, I have a feeling that I'd feel differently if the child where mine, but generally, kids piss me the FUCK off. I cannot deal with their goddamned tantrums in the stores when I don't buy them the unnecessary bullshit that they don't need and is simply a waste of money. I hate when they want to take my android away from me just to play some bullshit game just because "their bored". I hate how I have to spend time doing unproductive shit with them when I could be getting homework or business taken care of.  I hate how difficult they can make my job when they are "afraid" of the "eye poof machine" and how they make things difficult for the other children who await their turn.

Funny though, because I can remember myself being that fucking type of brat I despise today. I remember getting a lot of whoopin's, which in my child mind thought were "unjustified" and "omg so horrible!!!"

Lol, karma is kinda hilarious sometimes.

I recognize that we've all been one and I admire those who put time and effort into understanding children and raising them well, but I do not desire to have a small human of my own. If I change my mind I would like to adopt one that can already talk and take care of itself to some extent (e.g. does not need to be spoonfed, dressed, or have diapers changed). Additionally, I am 100% sure I do not ever want to be pregnant.

wait aren't you pregnant?

honestly i dont like children very much, i'm too selfish to deal with taking care of them. i will probably change my mind once i am older

Which is why I feel that I may have a change of heart.

But omg, I don't think I have the patience for those....damned things.

They are adorable and chubs, but some anyway. But when they get to the point where they start acting up, running around 24/7 and breaking things I can't handle it lmao. Seriously I went over my aunts to help take care of my baby cousin and he was an angel. Now he's annoying as hell at 4 years old and tries to spit on me whenever I see him. I don't have the patience either so...

Infant stage when they don't know how to walk or talk is fine. -__-

Yep, mine is 3 years old and has been doing that shit since he was two.

Sometimes I just want to tap that ass up REAL GOOD! But I can't because I'm not his mom and plus I would be the one to get in trouble.

Sometimes I feel like a mini heart attack occurs. I wish I could be good with children, but with other people's kids, it takes too much time and effort and trust.

And ain't nobody got time to be doing all of that.

Just got through dealing with him tonight, I feel like flipping a goddamned table over. His baby brother on the other hand, is a lot better than him. He's pleasant and friendly, but he's only 1. I don't like to play favoritism because I know what that feels like, but goddamnit!!!!

I like children, for me they naturally like me and I have no problems, they tend to tire me out, but it's worth it to me.

My cousins are 3 and 1yr olds and I love them to death, I spoil them so much and the three year old does act like a spoiled brat sometimes, but others he can be the nicest kid ever.

I guess you can say I'm at the stage where I don't mind having a child of my own.

Even with the difficulty and annoyances that come with it, there is a great amount of joy and reward that some parents get when raising their child.

Right now, me and my fiance are taking care of a dog. Granted its not the same as a human being and you should acknowledge it of course. But at the same time, its a living being and were taking it seriously, as maybe it can be helpful for us grow in responsibility and prepare for what could possibly happen.

But by the end of the day, a child is not a pet. Its a responsibility for life. And there are gonna be a lot of outcomes that will happen and can catch you off guard even for the prepare. But if you can take the challenge, I think there can be happiness found with taking care of a child.

Man I know how you feel about wanting to tap his behind for acting up. I wanted to give my cousin the broom stick cause he's such a trouble maker and my grandma is tired of taking care of bad kids for tne whole family, but hitting my aunts son would be a no no so I have to deal with it. x.x

i LOVE kids. i always enjoy taking care of them, and i sometimes act like their ages when i play with them  i'm used to taking care of a bunch of kids at the same time considering how many little cousins i have, and they usually tire me out a lot in the end but i still love being with them. i have experienced some bratty, annoying, or misbehaved kids before, but in the end i'm still fine with them. i have a bunch of great memories from being around little kids so much. they always give me fun and amusing moments that i always want to remember xD

i would honestly really really love to have and raise some kids of my own someday. looking after kids and playing with them always makes me so happy :D

I feel very uncomfortable when I'm around them. I never really liked children and I don't think my opinion will change. I especially hate them when I'm at the dentist. Oh god it's horrible.  :omgwtf:

Of course, i do appreciate some kids who don't scream or cry every 2 seconds.
