The Chinese weibo (which translates Korean News) just translates without verifying the accuracy of the information. For the record, Luhan got 1st in the voting and he was awarded the Popularity King of the Year Award at the Baidu Recorder of History Ceremony. To put it bluntly, those aren't rankings for the Top 10 popular celebrities of Baidu and people on the list aren't necessarily the Top 10 popular celebrities. They're nominees for an award. Being a nominee doesn't make you Top 10 because there are only ten people in participation. You're not at fault though, the Korean media is in the wrong for writing inaccurate reports. You're basically looking at a fan-voted popularity poll with only ten people and claiming that those ten people are the 10 most popular celebrities in 2014. Baidu intended for this poll to determine who would win an award at Baidu's Recorder of History ceremony so idk why you're making it into anything more than that. The chart ranking is: 1) Luhan 2) Chen Weiting 3) Liu Shishi 4) Zhou Bichang 5) Lay 6) Yang Mi 7) Victoria 8) Li Yifeng 9) GEM 10) TF Boys Luhan just got the Popularity King of the Year Award at the above Baidu Ceremony 3 days ago. Korean news reporters just looked at the picture without the ranking (voting page) and wrongly assumed that the sequencing is by the order the picture is placed.
