Things I hate about fanfictions

please don't get mad at me because I'm also a writer of a few fanfics and I read some here and there, but some things just really bother me!

1. bad English - I know some say English isn't their first language why don't they just write in their natural language.. but HOMEWORKS is not a word!!!!!!!!! oddly, they spell all bad words correctly....

2. Korean - I'm okay with 'oppa' and maybe 'yah'  but when they say 'ottoke' 'sarang' or 'chincha' it aggravates me! I especially hate when people say 'i sarang you' 'are you chincha?'

3. crappy posters/crappy artists - they suck. both ways. when they 'blacklist' you because they promised a decent poster and they give you crap. Like seriously...

4. dbskgirl4ever - why is she listed on the most searched when you type in 'asianfanfics' ???? I asked if she was the owner of the website and she ignored me....why is she so known?!!?

5. escalated plots - chapter one: they meet. chapter 3: they confess they love each other. Or better yet, They meet at a bar and know nothing of each other and both are sober, but they sleep with each other.....what? I'm honestly confused and it really gets on my nerves when they don't develop a plot and just jump to the end or smut.

okay, my small rant is over ^^

That's just bad fanfiction tho.

you're right. there's some really good ones! That's kind of what inspired me to write so I can practice  :)

Then why don't you write some better ones?

I write my own, though I don't know if I'm really good, I still avoid my pet peeves lol. It's sad because I've read some that I wish was an actual book, but nobody else reads them so the authors aren't popular

Most of dbskgirl4ever ffs have the highest views/comments/upvotes. So... Yeah....

Arranged marriage and kingkas vs nerd theme bored me

I've read some of her work and it was a bit...ordinary...I wasn't sure if she was popular for her stories or what, but I'm not a big fan of cliche plots either.

urghhhhh really

fucking hate that kind of stories

It ends the same: Nerdy girl falls for kingka, they miraculously fall for each other with an occasional break up or gang fight. I can always predict arranged marriages: Rich kid somehow arranged to marry a poor girl and they live happily ever after...that is, after he fixes his cold attitude.. -_-

Bad english isn't AS bad for me but the romanized korean DEFINITELY pisses me off... when i see "yah!" it's usually used in every sentence and I cant stand it! arasso, ah eottoke~

like... can u not

It's one thing I hope I never do. I hope, even if fans want so-and-so to end up with Mr. Cold guy, I will avoid cliches like it's the plague. I can't take writers serious when they write a story that's been written a thousand times just with different characters  :donthinkso:

It. gets. on. my. nerves. It's like a deadly sin as a fanfic writer! I know the characters are Korean and what not but we're reading it as if they speaking Korean, right? WHY ADD ROMANIZED WORDS?!
