She's not "useless". Moonbyul is a good rapper who writes her own lyrics and is the main choreographer of Mamamoo. She's also the lead dancer (her strength is hip hop). And she has proven that she can hold a tune. Just because an idol doesn't showcase their singing often doesn't make them useless.

she has room for improvement since she did sing pretty well judging on her segments on radio shows.

 

and she isn't useless at all; she helps choreograph their dances. How is that useless, esp when she can even rap well.
