‘Ode to My Father’ Hits Over 8 Million, Shows Heated Response In America

 

 

 

 

Already reaching an audience of over 8 million domestically*, the movie ‘Ode to My Father’ is showing signs of doing just as well in America.

‘Ode to My Father’ is set from the 1950s to present day and talks about the days of our fathers. Actor Hwang Jung Min plays the role of a father who works hard for his family. This movie shows the endless sacrifices a father does to keep his family safe and living.

Currently, this movie is not only the highest grossing film but also first in the box office in Korea. People await to see if this movie will cross over and join the list of ‘films that hit 10 million.’

It looks really good. I see the appeal with it. Definitely one of those movies with all sorts of emotions and a good story where you can get attached to people. I hope it does well and reaches the 10 million views.
