Already reaching an audience of over 8 million domestically*, the movie ‘Ode to My Father’ is showing signs of doing just as well in America.

‘Ode to My Father’ is set from the 1950s to present day and talks about the days of our fathers. Actor Hwang Jung Min plays the role of a father who works hard for his family. This movie shows the endless sacrifices a father does to keep his family safe and living.

Currently, this movie is not only the highest grossing film but also first in the box office in Korea. People await to see if this movie will cross over and join the list of ‘films that hit 10 million.’

Meanwhile, ‘Ode to My Father’ continues to make waves domestically and abroad.

where do you live dear? If there's any kind of film festival in your country (especially asian film festivals), there's a chance Ode To My Father might be shown. You can also email your local indie theaters and ask them if they can show the movie. Good luck!
