I guess if we talk about "career" as an actor: Wu Yifan is already planning to be in another movie, meanwhile Luhan has been hesitant because he's trying to focus on spending time with his family. If Luhan decides to keep acting he will do very well because his popularity in China is insane, but atm talking about career as an actor Wu Yifan has a more promising career. Luhan said in a recent interview he might not be in the entertaining industry a few years from now because if he gets a girlfriend and has children he will quit and focus on his family. Next year is the year he will official mark his name in the industry with his movies being released. Seriously, China has been lacking new fresh handsome actor for awhile (so they depend alot of foreign actors from Taiwan and Hongkong and now Korea). Wu Yi Fan going to save the day and drive CHinese women crazy with his face I can feel in my bone that he is the new "IT" With him speak fluently English and being a CHinese actor, I wont be surprise that he will cast in Hollywood movie later... Luhan is more popular with fangirls for now, but how far he can gain recognition with the public and mark his footstep, I'm not so sure. He is way too cute that fit exactly as an idol (thats y, I think he able to become so popular as an EXO's mem) and popular with fangirls. I think he has potential as a singer though (it's depend of his musical direction)...but in Mandopop, the really successful/well known singers are not from Mainland China, but are from Taiwan and Hongkong. But I think Luhan will do good as well. His popularity is insane, there are even fans in Korea supporting him... Generally outside of China, people seem to be more supportive to Luhan... Luhan will probably be offered only very "idoly" roles initially, plus I think he'll peace out of the industry in a few years, I'm not convinced that he has a clear vision for himself and his parents aren't supportive. It's too bad because I liked what he was doing with Exo, but he had problems w/his health and there's not much he can do about that. But if Wu Yifan isn't very good at acting, he will lose the momentum he has gained. I saw the trailers and his acting looked like it needed work, tbh... he is playing his cards right but if he lacks sufficient acting talent he will not be an A-list actor anytime soon. I think his musical career will be blah, he's just not that good at it, and he should honestly just focus on the acting because that is what will get him places... no more rapping plz.. But doesn't really need to because he can just do lighter stuff that doesn't require a deep or complex performance. Many average actors exist on star power and likability. He just needs not to suck. Luhan can learn to act. Altho emoting has been his issue so it might be harder for him. And his expression can be... Kris is cunning, clever, and charming. Luhan is very sweet and normal. Ultimately, the artist formally known as Kris stands a better chance IMO. Luhan stands a better chance as a full music act. Luhan's movie is doing great, he got a deal with KanS , was invited to be shareholder of Daling app, have massive support from his fanbase and is taking act learning classes.
