I'm a contradictory introvert. I have strong social skills and I do enjoy parties and meetings and whatnot, I just prefer to be back at home in my pyjamas after a while.

An ambivert with a little added introvertedness, if I'm really close to you I'll seem more extroverted, but to everyone else I'm an introvert. If I'm close to you I am insane and laugh for hours over nothing, but if I'm not then I'm quiet and seem to do nothing but read.

^ that's exactly what an introvert is right?. and what's an ambivert? first time i've heard of the term

too introverted for my liking

ambiverts fall very squarely in the middle of extroversion/introversion testing.

honestly...i don't get introvert/extrovert/ambivert... because i think most people are probably pretty ambivert... but... they work in predominance... so... an ambivert, i guess, would be would not have a predominant trait.

For instance... I do not feel uncomfortable in groups really...you can drag me out to a party every night... I can speak in front of crowds... i don't have huge issues meeting new people...actually i love travelling and feel more comfortable than most in new environments without a support system....but... i could also lock myself in a room for a month or longer (i'm dead serious) and not speak to anyone and be very happy and content...i seek extreme alone time, just as much as i seek engaging.....
