Recently, many sites are reporting that Baekhyun got a Rolex watch worth approx. $10k as a Christmas gift from famous Chinese fansite, Polar Light. Aside from that, caps, shoes (if I am not mistaken), shirts, etc.. But not only just a bunch of products that you can buy from a market but products that are branded and with like a hundred to thousand dollars of a price for just a single shirt or somewhat... And this is happenning for several times a year, and to know that many fansites (like over 20) are giving gifts like this. Aside from the question, where are they getting the money, (since some of the president of the fansites are really rich, and some of them are selling photobooks, calendars, etc...), does EXO and other artists really get the gifts from fans? I am really pointing this out to SM artists 'cause aside from the gifts are somewhat countless (like enermous) and I only saw many gifts like this only from an SM artist, it's like EXO members can't keep the gifts from their dorm. I am not against the fansites considering the fact that those gifts are really more than enough but I just want to have an idea where EXO really put those gifts. Are they really using them? Pineapple_Ramen 449 Posted January 8, 2015 Share Posted January 8, 2015 Well a lot of fansites try to raise funds for these sorts of projects months in advance, so usually fans will donate money as well as fansites selling goods in order to afford the gifts. As for where EXO actually stores all that stuff, I have no clue they could also share some of the items maybe, but I'm not sure if there's any photos of them that show it. Of course we'll never know if they actually received it or not till we get to see a photo of it as proof. Maybe the stuff that don't fit them or aren't to their taste are given away but I do see a lot of fancam of idols wearing/carrying the product a certain fansite has given them. But when it comes to where the rest of their gifts go, I wonder that too. Maybe SM has some sort of huge storage unit for this kind of stuff.
