Song Ji Hyo, Kim Jong Kook, Lee Jong Suk and more top Baidu’s most-searched list

Song Ji Hyo, Kim Jong Kook, Lee Jong Suk and more were featured in the most searched actresses and actors on Chinese search engine, Baidu. 

 

On January 7th, Top Star News revealed that there are eight Korean actresses who made it to the Top 50 chart for most searched actresses through Baidu’s official page. The list of actresses includes Song Ji Hyo at the top of the list, alongside Park Shin Hye, Bae Seul Gi, Han Ye Seul, Im Yoona, Choo Ja Hyun, Yoon Eun Hye, and Jun Ji Hyun.

 

Meanwhile, due to theses actresses being mentioned in the Top 50 Charts, most fans continue the search as they revisit their pictorials online.

 

Baidu also shared that Kim Jong Kook was also very popular amongst the top searched actors. It is speculated that the popularity of the program Running Man is highly evident as both Kim Jong Kook and Song Ji Hyo placed well in Baidu’s most-searched list.

 

Another Korean actor present in the list is Lee Jong Suk, who has been active in his career, further receiving Grime Awards‘s “The Best Male Actor Awards.†The correlation between popularly searched Lee Jong Suk and Park Shin Hye may prove that the drama Pinocchio has many Chinese fans as well.

If it'll make a difference for you, it's "most searched actors/actresses". And even with that one bad attempt with a guest role on Wild Romance, I doubt that's enough to consider her an actress.

Its most searched korean celebs tho.

And kpop isnt a big thing in china, so only actress and actor would make their name on this list.

 

And seems like jessica departure from snsd didnt make her name in this list either.

The first and second lines in the paragraph specifies actors/actress though, not celebs in general.

There is no spesification column on baidu search for idol, there is only one column, celebrity and entertainment, thats include domestic celebs and foreign celebs. Idols or c-singers and popular models are include in celeb column. Fyi.

I don't think they were bashing ,they were just curious ,because jessica was promoting in china and said to be very popular according to her fans so as krystal .

baidu is china's main search engine and takes a huge number of search to rank there ,so if that much popular why not rank?people  just curious about it

It is great that many people here know many things about China and the haters.. If Jessica includes in any charts, they will say the fans are so desperate to show Jessica is popular in China.

 

Now if Jessica doesnt include in any chart, they will say how Jessica's fans are so a big lie..Jessica doesnt even popular in China...

 

Sones here and K-sones are the same.. So greedy..

Nah, I doubt she even has kissing scene (maybe one and some hugs) since is historical drama. Well, overall Chinese costume series hardly has kissing scene and they isn't exaggerated with crying like Korean dramas. They all about action and talking/recite poetry etc :lol: :lol:

 

P.S This just shows that once again actors/actresses are always more popular and recognize than idols (unlike some fans claim that their unnies/oppas are more relevant), and yeah RM is popular in China for sure (and with Chinese RM version gaining so much popular there, it is a free advertise to Korean RM/casts). I wont be surprise if Jihyo cast in Chinese series soon, and more Jongkook in China--he has been attending events/shows in China quite often now.

Baidu is like google version (so it is their biggest search engine) and Weibo is twitter version ( a microblog). They are different type of SNS. I hope it is more clear now.
