What do you do when you're in love?

Recommended Posts

thats hard. very hard. almost impossible

True, personally I wouldn't be in love with someone that doesn't love me back. I know it may be hard for some people to stop being in love though.

It's me, isn't it?

But seriously though, if you really shouldn't be loving him, then there's nothing you can do. Just try to act normal around him and keep your feelings to yourself until you can divert your attention/feelings elsewhere.

I tend to be paranoid and worry. After getting comfortable I basically just continue the relationship as I would otherwise? lol

If you think you're in love, I'd say do what feels most comfortable. Whether that be telling the person, waiting to see what happens, or moving past the feelings.

Feeling like you're in love for the first time can be scary as hell. In my experience you should do what you feel is best, or what you truly want. There may be negative consequences, but you really need to experience such things to learn or move on.

Embrace it and enjoy the feeling for a while. It's a great feeling to have. Makes life seem a lot more vibrant imo.

As for what actions you should actually take regarding the feeling, I don't know, and I don't really think it's possible to know. Too many variables and unknown factors down the road. If it's not plausible in any manner at all, if it's completely unrealistic, then it may be best to try and move past it, as difficult as that may be. Alternatively, if there is a chance, and you really want to push for it, I'd suggest going for it. Having the opportunity to express those feelings can be relief and worth it in itself. Even if it doesn't go the way you want it to, you'll at least be able to say you gave it a shot and know better for next time.
