🭠Welcome to the Official Thread for King's Candy Crush Saga Games ðŸ­


 


'Candy Crush Saga' (2012) and the new sibling version 'Soda Saga' (2014), are match-three puzzle games created and released by the game developer King. They can be played on Facebook, or on Apple and Android mobile devices. It is free to play, however, in-game purchases can be made.


 


Feel free to discuss the game(s) here, get advice on specific levels, ask questions on game components, share your gaming experiences, etc.


 


Please don't make off-topic posts, rude or inappropriate comments, or spamming/advertising.


 


GAME BASICS


  • Introductory/Reach Score: make matches with at least three same-colour candies
  • Remove the Jelly: make matches on the jelly tiles to remove the jelly
  • Bring Down the Fruit: make matches to bring the fruit(s) down to the bottom of the game, where the green downward arrow indicates
  • Complete the Orders: make matches to complete the order indicated on the level; this could be a certain number of a specific colour of candies, or a number of certain combos
  • Timed Levels: make matches to boost the score to/above the 1-star meter to pass the level

SPECIAL CANDIES


  • Striped: match four same-colour candies in a horizontal or vertical line; removes all candies in its line; the direction of the stripes on the special candy will indicate whether it will shoot horizontally or vertically
  • Wrapped: match five same-colour candies in either a T or L shape; removes a 3x3 area of candies in two explosions
  • Colour Bomb: match five same-colour candies in a straight, horizontal or vertical line; when switched with a regular candy, it removes all candies of that one colour from the game board

I effing hate this game, mainly because aunts, and uncles and distant aunts and uncles sends me requests on facebook all the damn time ...

 

not even a hello but a request from this very game ... lol

That sucks :unsure: I love the game, but hate it when people are inconsiderate and send out mass requests. If it always bothers you, you can block the app and disable the notifications you get :)

Soda Saga is so damn hard  :cry:  I'm stucked on level 120 for two weeks and I have no idea how to win dis bish  :>_>:

Welcome to the thread :lol:  OMG I'M STUCK ON 120 TOO :>_>: Man, last time I tried it, I was doing so well!! So many awesome combos!! But nope. 35/40 of those damn bears.

I actually only play Candy Crush Saga.. is soda harder?

Soda is very fun IMO :lol: but yes, it's more complex, right from the start. Candy Crush has 6 colours, but Soda has a 7th colour (dark blue in addition to the lighter blue colour). When all 7 colours appear in a level, it's really hard to make good matches :unsure: That's just one thing that makes it harder XD

Omg, I know and I hate it so much. And it doesn't help that I'm a chocoholic so I'm craving chocolate like mad while I'm playing the choc levels. Lol

I'm so addicted to Candy Crush. It's my "relax" game, I like to have it open in a tab and play, while watching to series or listening to music. It's also my way to cure boredom on the bus.

 

I'm currently run out of levels in the original Candy Crush, as I'm in level 800 and waiting for a new episode. 

 

I love candy crush soda, it has better graphics and sounds, and I'm in level 145 currently. It's certainly is harder than the original.

 

As for dreamworld, I kind of hate it, but I play it sometimes. Currently stuck in 385.

Definitely agree that Soda has more amazing graphics and music :) Did you know the London Symphony Orchestra played the soundtrack for it? :ahmagah:  I hate Dreamworld too :>_>: That darn owl is so annoying! (but when he dances at the end when you pass the level, he's kinda cute LOL)
