KinkySanta 1,073 Posted December 31, 2014 Share Posted December 31, 2014 I have so far got invited to 5 different new years parties by my friends and I have made up plans to get out of every single one of them. I tell them that I already have new years plans. In actuality my plans are staying home with my ps4. I just really hate making a big deal out of holidays and all that I tend to not celebrate holidays. I can say I feel super stressed during any sort of holiday and everytime I do get suckered into some holiday celebration I just want to go home. Any other party I'm fine with, there's just something about holidays. Is anyone else here like this? Am I the only heartless holiday hater on OH? What I find incredibly irritating is that everyone at the party maintains a false pretense of happiness, stupidly grinning and forcing themselves to interact with eachother.. I naturally HATE crowded areas filled to the brim with people, so maybe that contributes to my antithapy towards holidays and the celebrations that come along with them. If you think about it, holidays are one of the times where people can relax a little from their busy lifestyles, and actually spend time with family and friends. No offense but I don't think you should cancel every single invitation, you could at least go to one or two of them. These moments are precious, because 2014 will never come back again, and people change so you never know about the future either.
