I'm interested to see who takes the Grand Prix this year (I'm hoping for Yuzu or Sazan, but we'll see).  Plus, Takeuchi Mariya's getting some portion of her concerts shown live on air since she won Album of the Year, so there's also that for me to look forward to.

Happens I actually really do enjoy the historical lookbacks this show does - can show some great stuff.

I do too. There's a good variety of acts and musical styles shown during these. Some are very reminiscent of the eras they were released in, but still maintain a Japanese feel to them, which I appreciate.
