After a couple of months, do you guys think this duo PD (Lee Hwan Jin + Kim Han Jin) are doing better than chul min ?Personally I think so .. My biggest issue with Running Man for the past couple of years is that the jokes/humor are repetetive/over-used and the overall show feels lifeless. Feels like they are just doing the show out of routine. Infinity Challenge was after 12 years still funny. Each episode was very different and creative. Running Man on the other hand consist of mini games that usually ends with a final mission. It's more streamlined and relies much more on the MCs' ability to entertain the viewers. On top of that, most RM MCs are not comedians (only Jaesuk, JSJ and Se Chan), but all IC MCs are comedians. This also helped IC a lot. Maybe it's just me but it's been more or less the same to me especially concept-wise. If no one told me that the PDs have changed I wouldn't have noticed. But yes this last several months KJK has been shining again Concept wise .. yeah .. it still pretty much the same .. Mini games with final mission .. but the execution makes the difference imo .. Chul min was incredibly lazy / easyly satisfied .. He started well , but his latter episodes are almost unwatchable tbh , lack of effort are really evident .. He repeated previous RM PD mistake , which is milking "successful game " till death .. ex : SJH / YJS game , barrel game, roulette game .. I still remember how barrel and roulette game almost always included in every single episode .. at the very least, current PD are trying to introduce new games and not over-dependent on cast making something from almost nothing like chul Min . ==================================== KJK doing karate / taekwondo (?) kick .. I envy the people who followed the show in 2011-2013 who were fed really quality episodes week in and week out or suffer waiting a week / more for a new episode .. At that time , subs are mostly done by fan-subs .. (I got into RM in mid 2011) iSUBS -> amazing quality subs + providing context about conv / joke but takes long time ( at least 2 weeks or even months) KshowNow -> fast subs but meh quality , IIRC they only start to subs late 2011 / early 2012 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

I love every member and it breaks my heart when I go to the Running Man's IG account comment section because it was full of hate. On September 26, SBS revealed that they will schedule a special episode to air sometime in October that shows more of what actually went on at the “Running Man” ninth-anniversary fan meeting. SBS stated that the songs from the fan meeting are available on major music sites, and all the proceeds resulting from the sales will be donated. The ninth-anniversary fan meeting of “Running Man” ended in success and with much praise from the public. The three-part special that showed the cast’s preparation for the event recorded a rise in viewership ratings each week, and the program also placed high in the realtime search rankings on major portals.
