I think ratings is bad because strong competition and Running Man is the only show on Sunday program that much more on  teenager viewers than 30+ adult..

The kids won't get to choose the channel if they still live with their parents, if only they can include streaming in ratings, maybe RM won't look this bad tbh

SBS won't cut running Man soon IMO , they'll try their best to revive RM .

If Ratings don't get better next couple months, I think SBS will move RM from Sunday program, maybe to Friday / Saturday,

Then give them another couple of months to see if Ratings get better ,  and if it's not get better , most likely Running Man will get axed..

I expect RM still has at least 6 months - 1 year.

the zombie episode was so funny, i dont understand how it can get a low rating. not that worry because RM is too big for SBS to stop..i guess? lol

if they keep doing bad , nothing's safe imo ..

But for sure SBS has bigger patient-meter for Running Man , they won't easily cut RM because simply RM is the only KR variety show successfully penetrate international market..

Does anyone ever wonder why they've kept the PD despite the hit or miss episodes? could it be there's noone willing to step up and take the challenge? i dont know just throwing ideas out there lol

I am good with current PD (Hyung Taek) , obviously he didn't get the winning formula yet, but since he take control as main PD in early 2015, RM is much more creative than 2013-2014(while Jo PD is still in charge), in 2013-2014 they are rehearsing the same game till it get stale: dakji ,acupunture mat, dodge ball ,barely any nametag ripping  and no guest episode ..

 

Jo PD in 2010-2012 was really good, but i don't know why he got so lazy in 2013-2014, he keep rehearsing same games..

in 2015 we barely had same games , more no guest episode + name tag ripping , so I am good with Hyung Taek, he just need to improve his editing

Based on pics, seems both upcoming episode will have no guest ..
Seems they are trying to rebuild their character + back to their roots, lately there are so many no guest episodes..
And it seems Rm change their writer, well, at least that's my impression, because i noticed some new  unfamiliar faces in RM production team

Running Man is "projected" to go to Dubai this coming February. RM crew are working out their schedule so that everyone can go. RM officials say this will be the biggest production and the most expensive RM project. 'Dubai' special is going to be a massive. The Dubai Tourist Department is helping RM a lot because they think RM will help more people visit Dubai. Dubai Tourist Dept. saw the impact that 'Grandpa over Flowers' had after they visited Dubai.

it's a bit draggy, i guess they lack material to edit in ,
IMO running man just need to get their editing better ,

last couple of months, content wise , RM is really good, it just sometimes the editing let us down .

Yeah , last episode is really bad ..
The production team gives little to no chance for RM members to do variety , almost no room to improvise in this episode .

and who told the production team 20 minutes introduction  narration is a good thing for variety ?

even most movie only have 5 minutes introduction  

They should stop unnecessary narration like that , it really kill the vibe ..
It's okay to have long ass opening / introduction if it's done right like in Idol special (dancing) or 100 vs 100 episodes but long ass narration is just a no no tbh.

Good episodes , there are a lot laughs here and there , initially I thought this will be usual food touring episode,  but i guess sticking together make the difference

160308 news: RM, 14 March first filming after changing PD.
Lee Hwan Jin PD said next week 14 and 15 March will have RM filming after changing PD.
First filming will be no guests, mainly focus on members and they will film in Seoul.

I skip Monday Couple part because i only like Gary natural + cheesy line , not when they are forced together,

and i am laughing a lot in latter half of this  episode

So I still give this episode 7/10
