Are the dubbed and subbed two different versions ? When I go to episode 131, there's this random light haired girl that's a part of the junior detective league, but I don't even remember her from any of the previous episodes. I'M SO CONFUSED !! neon_my_genesis 5,872 Posted December 28, 2014 Share Posted December 28, 2014 (edited) yeah the dubbed versions isn't fully dubbed, I think they stopped licensing it :( there aren't any different versions, the subbed and dubbed versions are the same, except that, when there were episodes that were in two or three parts; in the dubbed version each part got counted as a separate episode but not the subbed version (all the parts counted as one episode for the subbed.) so the last dubbed episode, which is 130, corresponds to episode 123 on the subbed episodes. don't give up on it, it's such an amazing anime, and it's finally ending soon so no long waits!! but the transition between the dubbed to subbed version is really hard, since, as you said, the dubbing of Detective Conan was amazing. I don't think I'm going to be quite fond of this new light-hared character though. she's not everyone's cup of tea but she's a strong character, which is refreshing. I like her, but not as a romantic pairing for Jimmy/Shinichi (in the subs). They make a good team. but man, I remember I was just 6 yrs old when I first watched it on tv, it had been on for 4 years at that time. Idek, why could Skip!Beat or Sailor Moon have been this long TT Just watch the sub...or even better just read the manga instead. I dont watch the anime much but i do read the manga...
