And here's the latest trailer for the movie that he got muscular for.

I don't know much about the film, but it's definitely about MMA fighters that's for sure lol.

The film is directed by Dante Lam, the same guy who worked on that one awesome film called Beast Stalker, so I'm definitely looking forward to this film.

you're kind of late considering this news have been out for awhile now

Oh no.  I knew about this for a while now.

I made a thread about it a while back:  http://onehallyu.com/index.php?/topic/4719-holy-what-happened-to-nick-cheung/

I'm always up to date with Chinese Entertainment (considering the fact that I am Chinese myself).  I just don't post about them as often as I do about K-pop.

Same lol

===================================================

i remember him playing a kickboxer before in one of the Young and Dangerous movies, or it could have been the prequel.

I like Nick but i'm not much of a MMA fan so i'm not sure if i'll watch this.

I was just reading a review on the film.  According to Kevin Ma of LoveHKfilm, "Unbeatable" is a really great film that contains Nick Cheung's 'career-best performance'.

You can read the rest of the review here:  http://lovehkfilm.com/reviews_2/unbeatable.html

I'm not a big fan of MMA either, but reading Kevin Ma's review got me really interested in the film.

well i might check it out if it's his best performance of his career. But i'd be more interested in another team up with Nic Tse to follow up Beast Stalker and Stool Pigeon.

I haven't been keeping up with HK movies in the last few years. I have a bunch downloaded and only watched a few of them.

Yea, and a follow up film to Beast Stalker or Stool Pigeon would definitely sound nice.

There has been many HK films made in the past few years.  Many bad, and some good.  The ones that I haven't watched yet is Motorway and Drug War.  Those 2 films look really good.

Motorway is ok. Decent movie to watch while we continue to wait for Initial D 2  :)

I just downloaded Drug War a few days ago but haven't watched it yet. Last movie i watched was Cold War which i was kinda disappointed in.

It was so boring =_=

But yea, I will definitely check out those 2 films.  Especially Drug War.

I smell steroid use

Maybe?  But I doubt it.  He didn't get this muscular body within a short time span.  He had been training for quite a while now.

According to his recent interviews, he got help from a professional fitness trainer that had him eat 20-30 egg whites everyday, and he had a pretty strict diet as well.

Here are 2 articles where he talks about his training:
