I don't know if it was the same for everyone's performances but RV sure got screwed over. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DoN6PNxTTEo The backing track is too quiet The microphone volumes fade in and out The vocal tracks have minimal to no reverb on them The EQ is unstable This is all stuff that should be be worked out in the post performance, do they not practice?? It was weird that so many groups seemed to have almost no backing track. makes you wonder why they're hiring people who don't seem to be able to do their job...either that or they're just so time pressured that they can't level things and make sure equipment works properly. (The camera work on the other hand...) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PolPZTs9mWM If you listen at the start of the performance, the backing track is a bit too quiet, but it's fixed in the pause between Solar and Moonbyul's (?) parts. I think Mamamoo's saving grace is that they have very little vocal on their backing track, so when the volume was fixed their whole performance was fine (great, even, what a good song!). Whereas for RV they (for god knows what reason) didn't fix the volume, and their backing track had a lot of vocal on it making the performance sound messy.
