Good for her actually.

Three Kingdom is huge project and it is from one of the most popular station (Hunan is second most watched station in China after CCTV--well they are pretty head to head interm of ratings) that produced the series that gonna guarantee high ratings (plus, the fee likely IS huge).

She can expand her career there too (since SM just sign a new venture with a Chinese company). She might get to star in big Movie project in China like Song Hye Kyo soon. In international level, Chinese actors/actresses are more well known than Koreans actors/actresses actually.

It gonna help her acting career more stable compare to her acting career in Korea (her acting career in Korea is pretty stagnant imo).

I never understand Korean stars filming Chinese dramas when they don't speak Chinese.

If they are just gonna dub over them then why don't they just use Chinese people? Less time to invest in dubbing.

That's what most Cnetz are angry about, that they use someone who can't speak the language. Also, they're always strict with the choice of actors/actresses when it comes to historical stuff.

I have to agree with you for once.

Lin Geng Xin is not bad, but I can't really imagine Yoona in a chinese drama and certainly not 60 episodes long.

Well, I will wait until August and give it a try. I'm curious, how Cnetz will react to it.

She cant even do well in Korean drama, what she is doing in a Chinese one.

Not like Chinese actors don't get their voices dubbed in Chinese dramas. Chinese dramas, especially historical ones, ALWAYS get dubbed, no matter how well the actors speak Chinese.

Well this came out of nowhere... Btw, anybody know if they actually speak when filming (i.e. Does Yoona actually speak in Korean, or does she just mouth words and look like she's speaking)? Cos it's kinda awkward if she speaks Korean while all the other speak Chinese whilst filming. Just curious :)

That's what I suspected. I don't think this drama go do well for her image in China. It would have been better Victoria idk
