Friendly reminder that calling women of color exotic is fucking racist dehumanizing othering and not a fucking compliment Um excuse me ? Though if people don't see 'women of colour' often, then what's wrong with calling them 'exotic'. It's a compliment more than anything else - overly sensitive. In my opinion, it is a matter of specific situation. It's not necessarily racist, but one has to ask what you would do if that "exoticism" wears off. You're meeting people, not buying a new car.
