Daehyun fucked up,saying "hyung who gained weight" to him privately would be ok,i mean they're like brothers so ofc they're going to tease each other a lot,but saying shit like this for everyone to see esp when there are already assholes teasing Himchan about his weight and calling him fat just added fuel to the fire. Ppl would start thinking it is totally ok to call Himchan fat because daehyun did so.

But fortunately, Daehyun realized what he did was wrong and deleted it in the span of 5 seconds. He's also just a human who makes mistakes,and im glad he learnt from it.

They've had some, though... maybe not in the year end award shows but for other specials.  And BangLo were in a rap collab with BTS and ToppDogg (I think no BlockB at the time), and Bang was in the previous collab with a bajillion rappers on stage (that might have been at a year-end award show, I dunno).  They also did the dance-off with BtoB early on (maybe 2012).  And of course daehyun and youngjae have had some stages, too.

I think we talked about Block B in thread a little while back... since then I'd seen some other things about it.  The court decision on that was that the court didn't think there was definite proof that Stardom deliberately didn't pay Block B what they were entitled, so Block B would have been stuck with them.  It's good for Block B that Stardom lost their other lawsuit at the time, but it seriously makes me worry about what kind of ridiculous burden of proof would actually be needed for b.a.p to win their case.

 

If b.a.p actually wins (which has not happened before, I think?  IIRC JYJ settled out of court, Block B lost) I think they probably will not be entitled to most things by default.  Jaejoong in particular wrote and/or composed even when in TVXQ and it didn't exempt them from paying performance fees to perform them, I think.  I think being a composer doesn't necessarily entitle you to performance rights even if you earn royalties from whatever it is.

 

I think these things are basically up for negotiation.  And depends on how petty TS is vs. how much money they could be offered (and whether a company that picks up b.a.p thinks it makes financial sense).  In the case of JYJ, SM has an incentive beyond pettiness to hang onto the rights to all those things, because they still have the 2-member TVXQ who "needs" all those things.  Whereas when Block B transferred their management rights to Seven Seasons, there wasn't a Block B remaining in Stardom who would be making use of those things, and also Stardom was in debt to the company they lost the lawsuit to.  If b.a.p wins their lawsuit, there also will not be a b.a.p in TS to make productive use of all those things TS could otherwise earn money on by selling the rights to b.a.p, but... TS also probably is not as financially unstable as Stardom was, since TS has Secret (members) and Stardom had... well EvoL, but basically no one that was earning them appreciable money. >.>;;;

every company that debuts new gg gets into debt,well at least the small ones,like TS. not to mention snm arent doing exactly the best,and are most likely to get lost in this big wave of rookie groups.

I dunno about that.  After all, b.a.p did earn TS money, and TS was entitled to X percentage of the profit (even though we don't believe they're telling b.a.p the truth about how much that was.)  So TS had a cushion to debut the girlgroup with, even if they might not be successful in the end.  (And of course Secret are still earning TS money.)  If debuting the girlgroup actually put TS in debt then the probability that b.a.p will lose their suit is actually higher.

 

What is hallyutrend?  I guess TS/b.a.p has some penalties to pay because of canceled concerts, though... is hallyutrend a company involved in those?

 

we can never know how TS spent these money after all. I heard some rumor the ceo is some gambler/drunkard lol,so honestly,im just really curiouos how this all will turn out.

Would other idols know know about that though? I think mentioning the group name and given a certificate in the group's name is different. A lot of groups seem to simply like B.A.P (who wouldn't  ) and mention them quite a bit. I don't think would know if the boys are still able to use that name or not since the lawsuit is ongoing.
