That statement of his can be read in multiple ways ....   I find it a little depressing to think that something happened that caused them to drift apart.

Eh, since Daehyun answered that Youngjae was his best friend, I assume they're just joking.

 

(Also, I think ppl put a little too much weight in the "Youngjae was my only friend when I came to Seoul" thing... because Daehyun probably said chingu, so what he really means is that Youngjae was the only one who was the same age as him when he joined b.a.p.  It's not like he didn't get along with the maknae line either, it's just that Youngjae's his only "same old friend", not actually the only one he was friends with. orz )

 

 

Yeah, I think it's that too honestly.

 

Ahh the way I interpreted it was that they felt comfortable around each other to help each other out - maybe because of age, or similarities between them like their love of singing. Although other people suggest there would have been rivalry between them at first, I honestly believe Daehyun was a bit of a blessing to him. So much less pressure.
