[i like hip hop style]

Are you here today to participate in Givenchy's new store opening?

WYF: Yes that's right. It's a great honor for me to be invited by Givenchy, to their 2nd flagship store in

the world, and I'm really looking forward to it.

What do you think Givenchy's fashion style is like?

WYF: I feel like they are avant-garde, fashionable, and extremely classic.

Do you like this style?
WYF: Yes most definitely! Givenchy is a label that I really love.
(in Korea, Wu Yi Fan is a VIP store member of Givenchy)

It seems like you haven't been seen in dressed in Givenchy in the past

WYF: I have! Perhaps you haven't seen enough of my outfits, I have worn quite a bit of Givenchy.

(Fans later messaged iFeng that Wu Yi Fan really has worn Givenchy good quite a number of times

and he genuinely loves the brand)

Which style do you think suits you the most?
WYF: Personally, I like hip hop style the best, in recent years it seems to be the trend to incorporate hip

hop into fashion. This includes high end labels such as Givenchy's current season which includes elements

of hip hop, which is easy to match, and therefore explains why I like it.

Are there any specific items from Givenchy that you especially like?
WYF: Yes, for example I like this season's printed T-shirts, those kind of black & white printed tees are

suitable streetwear.

[Today's jacket is tailless]

Can you tell us what you're wearing today?

WYF: I'm wearing a tailless jacket from Givenchy's Fall/Winter 2014 collection, yes, there are no coat tails,

along with a white shirt. I feel that the detailing on the lapels are amazing, and on the whole it gives a very

high-class feel.

We've noticed that upon your return to China, more leather items are incorporated into your look -

leather jacket, leather pants - do you have any opinions on them?

WYF: Yes, for my day to day appearance I'll take into consideration others' opinions, because I really

like fashion, I'll usually discuss with everyone then dress accordingly.

Your earring today is really unique, did you pick it yourself?

WYF: This earring is something I wear often.

[Peng Ze Yang is nouveau riche]

In Xu Jinglei's film Somewhere Only We Know you play the role of Peng ZeYang, please introduce this

character to us

WYF: Peng ZeYang is a rather complicated youth, he's a Chinese kid who grew up in Prague and he has

a complicated family background. He plays the cello, I can't reveal too many spoilers, but I think there are

many aspects in which we are similar, at the same time there are areas which I can challenge myself

in, so this is what attracted me, he's a character which I want to portray well.

Why does everyone call him "Businessman/Nouveau riche"?
WYF: (laughs) Nouveau riche, sorry he's just rich, he can't help it.

You really can't reveal any more spoilers?

WYF: Yes, let's keep it a secret first, he's a businessman...

Are there any scenes in this movie that left a deep impression on you? There's a gif made by your fans

of you throwing Wang Likun over your shoulders and carrying her.

WYF: Yes that scene where I carried her down the steps was very memorable, it was rather dangerous

and I was really afraid that in the event that I were to slip, it would be troublesome. Actually that time I

spent in Prague was joyous time, because it was my first movie, so it was more memorable.

[i won't make everyone wait too long for a musical release]

Next up you'll be filming <Lao Pao Er/FADING WAVE>? You'll be working with Li Yi Feng?

WYF: Yes, we are filming this together.

What's your opinion of him?

WYF: Very good, I think he's awesome.

You sang <There's A Place> as the theme song (for SWOWK), did you compose this by yourself?

WYF: Yes, I composed and produced it together with a good friend.

Will you do anything music-related next? For example release an album?

WYF: Yes I definitely will, everyone is looking forward to it. There isn't a specific date revealed but there

are definite plans and I won't let everyone wait for too long.

Did you grow up in Canada since young?

WYF: No, I was about ten when I went there

After staying in Canada you went to Korea for seven years?

WYF: Yes, close to seven years

After that you came back to China, and I feel that compared to others your age, you have went through

a wider variety of life experiences. You must've learnt a lot from these experiences, but have you lost

anything too?

WYF: Yes it's inevitable, you can't have everything at the same time. For me, because I moved around

so much since I was young, it's hard for me to have good and stable friends, so it has always been those

few extremely good friends by my side.

Whilst in Korea and even more so when you come back to China, you have many fans and people keep

their eyes on you. You must've lost some privacy, do you feel harassed?

WYF: I feel that as a public figure, this is extremely hard to avoid, however, it is my chosen career path. I'm

always thankful to my fans and the friends who support me.

Your fans are called "Meigeni" (my every you)?
WYF: (laughs) That's right, I have said in the past "I like every one of you"

I see! You debuted as a member of a Korean Group but when you returned to China you start off anew as a

solo idol, at the moment this is a hot topic, will you reject any questions that require you to talk about your

past experiences in Korea?

WYF: No, I won't.

Do you feel that you're rather thankful instead?

Yes I'm thankful, and I definitely won't reject such questions. I'll always carry a thankful heart towards those

who have helped me before. In everyone's life, every part is meant to teach us a lesson which enables us

to grow, no matter which part of life, we should be thankful for it.

Do you love playing basketball?

WYF: (laughs) Yes, yes

You're 187cm tall, have you measured the lenght of your legs before?

WYF: (laughs) I haven't.

Is it convenient to reveal your shoe size?

WYF: My shoe size is bigger (than the average person's), it's 46

Is it hard for you to buy shoes in your size?

WYF: Honestly it's not that easy, so there are many times where I have to think of ways to buy them online...

Do you really like Jordans?

WYF: Jordan, yes.
(When his schedule at Givenchy was complete, he changed back into the pair of Jordans on his latest IG

update)

We've interviewed Re Yi Zha before and she said that off screen your style is really hip hop, just as you have

mentioned. Do you have any other hobbies? For example playing musical instruments.

WYF: When I was young I played the saxophone, as for other hobbies, I especially like snowboarding and

pretty much love doing any sport. I also quite like dancing.

Risky question, but he answered it well. I have to say, since he went back to China, he speaks really in a mature manner and well educated. Also, his chinese sounds much better.

Very mature answers.. again, I must express how much I like how he comes across in these interviews.

The bit about not having a lot of friends made me sad, but I'm glad for the few real friends he does have. They have his back 100%.

I respected his silence when he first left and am grateful for his mature response (as expected) :')

And that's what really counts in the end. I've moved around many times as well so I only have a handful of truly close friends that I can count on, and for that I'm content and grateful for what we've been through all these years~
