Sleeping with covers and neck tingling

Over the years I've developed a habit that no matter what, I cannot fall asleep if the back of my neck and my ear are not covered by a blanket. I blame it on being scared of having ppl whispering in my ear as I sleep (I'm crazy, I know).

For the past 2 or so years tho, I've been feeling this wierd tingling sensation, almost ticklish (it gives you shicers but not like the good kinda shivers and your shoulders get tense and go up) on the back of my neck. I get it in any sleeping position (back, stomach, etc.) but mostly when I'm sleeping on one side or another.

I REALLY WANNA GET RID OF THAT SHIT.

SEND HALP. AND TIPS. AND MONEY TO THE NECK TINGLING VICTIMS' FOUNDATION.

Sometimes the covers will tingle some part of my body and I will freak out and wake up thrashing the covers everywhere because I thought it was a bug.

It's not because of the covers lmao I tuck them in to not leave an empty space between the covers and the back of my neck so as to avoid the tingling as much as I can (it usually lessens it a bit)

Stigma making it harder in both schooling and employment?

How about no.

Oh sorry  :._.: , I dunno how it's in other places, but for example in here is very common that everyone goes once in a lifetime to see an therapeut, you don't even need to have an issue; you may wanna reconsider going to talk to one, because that fear you have at night may have a root in something your subconscient is trying to make you see that you don't want to; in other words, it may get worst, you may develope rituals and stuff to avoid that fear, and we don't want that, do we :imstupid: ?; plus you are a big girl, i'm sure you can arrange to see one without telling neither your family or cooworkers

I used to be really afraid of sleeping alone and of ghosts and etc.

I got a canopy bed with curtains and from that point on I could always sleep alone, I basically use the curtains to block me out from seeing anything sp00ky
