Guo Jingming plans to invite Wu Yifan and Luhan to star in Ice Fantasy

It's been a hot topic on Weibo that a drama version of Ice Fantasy plans to cast Yifan and Luhan as brothers but it also appears that the movie version, which will be directed by the writer of the popular novel itself, Guo Jingming, plans to cast them both too.

 

Wu Yifan's name has been attached to the Ice Fantasy movie since June and last November, Guo Jingming posted this on Weibo:

"Guo Jingming: Jia you! Mr. Fan! Remember our promise "

 

"Guo Jingming said "约定†which is a little different than simply to promise ("答应"). To give you an idea, 约定 is literally "previously arranged"" (trans: li__jy)

 

So is this the arrangement he was talking about?  :derp:  I guess we'll know soon!

I've read Ice Fantasy and I loved it!! The book was a huge success here in China. If Kris and Luhan are smart, they better accept this offer, it would definitely bring them public recognition.

Not sure about Luhan yet, but Kris would match the role.

Lol. But I doubt both of them want to do it together if the movie is next year. Cause I feel that kris is trying to avoid in the same place as Luhan in public.

I said the same thing in another thread and a Kris fan said they are definitely avoiding. 

Maybe they are in contact but they don't want to appear together on tv/in public. Even if they are in contact I feel that they may just communicate on digital device.

Hmm, I don't think they're actively avoiding each other or appearing together.. it's more that they aren't in a hurry to do that. If they're smart and if they are working together in the future, they're going to save the first appearance and first sign of contact to create publicity for that project.

Always had a hunch that this was what he was talking about too, so I'm certain Kris will be on board for this  :raep:

KrisHan in the same movie would be such an ideal movie for me  :rlytearpls:

I see it more of them tactfully avoiding the unnecessary rumours and drama that may spark if they are both seen together as of right now, but next year is a new year and I'm anticipating all the KrisHan  :datass:

Sure, the book is about the brothers Prince Kasuo (the older brother, probably Kris's potential role), who's supposed to become the king of "The Empire Of Enchanted Snow" (not sure if I translated the name right), and Shi (younger brother, Luhan?).

After a war with the "Man Of Fire", where their parents and silblings were killed, Kasou and Shi were sent to an old Shaman.

A few years later, both return to the Enchanted City, but both desire different things. Kasou wants to contemplate the beauty of things, but he's forced to care for the kingdom first. But he's angry, because his future wife was killed.

And Shi wants, on the one hand, freedom for his brother and on the other hand, to become the king of the empire.

After Kasou finds out that Shi killed his future wife things... yeah, escalate.

 

 

Sorry, it's really hard to write a summary, because it's like five years ago that I've read the book and I really don't want to spoil it for you.  :rlytearpls:

Does Kasou really have long silver-white hair? Because I've been wanting to see Kris with that hair lol

You're welcome! Yes, the book is really interesting.

 

If I remember right, yes. They both have white/silver hair, but I'm not quite sure if their hair was long.
