The first ones that pop into my mind are Eunji and Chen.

 

Honestly, I think having pleasant tone/flexible voice and having good variety skill is key in having a successful solo.

 

Eunji's like A pink's it girl so she has good popularity to support her plus an ammaazzing voice tho I don't know about her variety skill. Chen is also great at variety and singing, so a solo is definitely good for him. Maybe Baekhyun too since he is insanely popular and was an entertaining MC and his voice is good enough.

Not counting anyone who has had a solo album already...

 

In f(x), I can really only see Krystal having a successful solo. Luna isn't popular enough, sadly. Eunji would probably do well with a solo since she's way more popular than the rest of APink as it is, and her OSTs and collabs always do really well. Taeyeon would do really well too based upon her OSTs. 

 

Most groups don't have members who are popular enough outside of the group to have solos - either that or it's likely a popular member couldn't carry a solo (see: Donghae+Eunhyuk, their subunit does well, but I don't think either of them would do well at all solo). So they'd be better off, as I alluded to, to have a subunit. Most idols aren't well rounded enough to carry a solo IMHO...I mean look at Jiyeon of T-Ara, she's super popular but her solo was a flop on the charts (album sales were good though). Part of that had to do with the subpar song choice, but it shows even the most popular member of a group can't succeed with a solo career. 

 

Of male groups, I don't follow enough to know who would really succeed with a solo. It would all depend on the style of the song and if the member has enough fans to support them/if the public likes the song. 

 

Subunits are really the way to go with idol groups.
