[Ratings: Mon, 01.12.14] Monday Brings Healing with ′Healer′ and ′Healing Camp′ on Top

Rating Rating more One Star

2015.01.13 10:36 CJ E&M enewsWorld Grace Danbi Hong

After trailing behind at third, KBS′ Healer made a surprise leap into first place.

On January 12, Healer received a rating of 9.4 percent, its highest numbers to date. Compared to its previous rating, Healer rose 0.2 percent.

In the earlier episodes of Healer, the drama remained in third place, while MBC′s Pride and Prejudice was on top. However, with the sudden increase of ratings for Healer, the tables have turned with Pride and Prejudice at third place and with one more episode to go.

But Healer will have to keep its guard up, as SBS′ Punch is not that far behind at 9.1 percent.

Perhaps it was a Monday of healing, as SBS′ Healing Camp also pulled strong ratings of 7.4 percent. The program provided tears as former Fin.K.L. members connected together after many years, bringing much tears and nostalgia to flow into the living room.

Hi everyone! I am new here to the thread. I just finished watching the first 10 episode yesterday, and I must say that I am really enjoying this series! There are just enough of everything like action, comedy, cuteness, romance that keep me highly entertained! The OTP is just ...  While I wished for more episodes, I realized that it was Monday so I went ahead and watch the raw of episode 11!

Regarding episode 11, wow, the plot is progressing fast! Yesterday, KMH found out the identity of the Healer just like that. I thought it would get dragged out a little bit, but the confrontation was almost immediately haha. Tonight, SJH will figure out who CYS is according to the preview. I am curious to see how CYS will learn of her real identity as well as the identify of KMH and SJH. Also, the conflict is real now! It is getting so intense!

FINALLY, WELCOME HOME

7a7a931btw1enjtmycen5g20c20e07wk.gif

Yeah, so happy finally you fell in the Healer zone with us. Ikr, this show wraps too much ingredients to be our liking. And which OTP you are in? Young Shin - Healer? Young Shin - Bong Soo? Or maybe hacker ahjumma - detective Yoon :har: Young Shin - Jung Hoo? That's me at first but then I moved to Jung Hoo - Moon Ho, I love this bromance too much no-no-crazy-rabbit-emoticon.gif?12927937

Don't forget to live streaming tonight 22.00 KST too

I thought we'll get very long-heartbreaking scene when Moon Ho met Healer face to face, sad flashback, hugging, crying, grabbing shirt, punching wall, flipping table, but it came out so warm and just a tense here and there, both of them so easy with that heavy fact. But then the wrecking yard scene :ahmagah: Moon Ho has that motherly face, I mean brotherly act toward Jung Hoo, this scene even beat the romantic movie date on my list :har:

Yes, Jung Hoo will know that Young Shin is Ji An, but maybe Young Shin just know he's her Bong Sooki and she realizes that she loves him :har:  And more complicated conflict will happen everywhere, let's prepare our heart boohoo-crazy-rabbit-emoticon.gif?1292793Please don't kill anyone anymore jakkanim

we were in second before mwave >_> lol

the gifs dont show :(( they were there when i posted them    tmblr is down now

here have a video of Ji Chang Wook bootie shaking instead

starts at 1:58

Is that mean MWave in our side now?

Tumblr is back! But I still can't see the gif, it's in purple mode 404 error, maybe the owner of the gif did something to them

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOooooooooooooo..................... don't stop :megusta: He's so weird, why we love him again?

Welcome!! Another healerholic to spazz dance-with-me-crazy-rabbit-emoticon.gif?

yes this drama is so good   and all otp moments

I still havent seen the last episode waiting on dramafever  but i saw a few spoilers and a lot happened. I like that the plot is moving along really quick i dont like when dramas drag on for a long time

Cheer up! Hope we don't get a fatigue period, we still have 9 episode but this show always be great and more better that make me worried without any reason, SORRY

kill-myself-crazy-rabbit-emoticon.gif?12

Thanks! So Healer fans are called healerholic, good to know!

And I agree. The storytelling of Healer is one of its strongest points. There has not been any moment in the drama that is dull, boring or dragged out!

Beanies call themselves Healers, Soompiers went to Healerities, Healerious, but we can use Healerholic too here :ahmagah:

YES! This is the first drama that make me almost crazy every monday-tuesday without seeing another show because rewatching again and again, lurking many Healer forums, so many thing to discuss of. Even the flashback so interesting to watch.

Healer: Episode 11

by javabeans | January 12, 2015

healer11-00573a.jpg

More good stuff! It’s pretty gratifying to go into each episode hoping for the best and to be rewarded, because so often we’re met with disappointment instead. This episode makes some huge strides forward with connections being drawn and continued shifts in the relationships, bringing forth some unexpected (but totally welcome) alliances, while hinting at fractured ones to come.

Also, a quick reminder: We’re a staunchly spoiler-free zone here, so please be mindful of not posting Episode 12 details in this thread while waiting for the new recap. I know waiting is hard, but spoilers are evil!

SONG OF THE DAY

Ben (BeBe Mignon) – “You†from the Healer OST [ Download ]

EPISODE 11 RECAP

Moon-ho returns home to find his chest of mementos open in plain sight, which puts him on alert. A call arrives from an unknown number, the voice digitally altered: the Healer.

Moon-ho knows the Healer doesn’t do phone calls, but the Healer says he’s making an exception to ask a pressing question, “when I can see your face like this.†Eek, shivers.

The lights flick off, and a shadowy figure steps into view. In his normal voice, Jung-hoo asks about the photo of the five friends, and what happened in February 1992. What payment will he require of the Healer in exchange for this information?

healer11-00020a.jpg

Moon-ho answers, “Will you show me your face?†Healer starts to reject that request, but Moon-ho holds up Young-shin’s busted cell phone and says, “Park Bong-soo.†O.M.G. He explains finding the phone in Bong-soo’s coat and links it to the elevator accident. Is the jig up?

Moon-ho now calls him Bong-soo and requests to see his face—that’s his condition for answering the question.

So Healer sighs, steps into the open, and turns on the light. He walks up to Moon-ho, takes off his glasses, and looks him straight in the eye. Aieeeeeee.

healer11-00070.jpg

Moon-ho holds up the photograph and asks which friend he’s interested in. At Jung-hoo’s indication, Moon-ho seems to confirm a hunch and names the friend as Seo Joon-seok. Then he asks if Jung-hoo knows what “Morumoru Island†is, so-called because nobody knows where it is (mo-reu = unknown).

Itching for information, Jung-hoo impatiently replies that he’s quite serious, just as a memory hits him. He hears giggling children and a little girl’s voice asking, “Do you know what Morumoru Island is?†But he doesn’t quite know what to do with the recollection, and prompts Moon-ho to continue talking.

Moon-ho explains his noona recently telling him about a burglar whose face was strikingly similar to an old friend’s. Now Moon-ho also sees the resemblance, and has deduced why the Healer, whose existence requires such secrecy, might reveal himself to know this information.

“You, with eyes so similar to his,†he notes. “Are you Jung-hoo?â€

Oof, so many emotions. Jung-hoo struggles to process, and then the girl’s voice rings in his ear again, calling out, “Jung-hoo-ya! Play with me!†The memory is visual this time: Ji-an chases Jung-hoo around a room while Teenage Moon-ho builds a fort with furniture. Ji-an declares, “It’s Morumoru Island!â€

Moon-ho lets the kiddos inside and tells them to play quietly or risk pirate attack (ha, clever).

 healer11-00093.jpg

In the present, Jung-hoo’s chilliness prompts Moon-ho to sigh, “You guys used to be quite close to me.†Jung-hoo picks up on the plural and asks what happened to the girl. Moon-ho replies, “She died. In 1992.â€

Jung-hoo has only now recalled Ji-an but it’s a shock to hear of her death. He turns back to the question of his father, and the person he killed. Moon-ho identifies Gil-han—the man next to him in the photo.

Jung-hoo reels, stammering, “H-he… killed his f-friend?â€

But Moon-ho tells him that he asked the wrong question: “Your father was a murder suspect, not a murderer.†He died before he could clear his name, and Moon-ho asks if Jung-hoo came to him because he wants to prove his innocence.

So Moon-ho suggests working together toward that goal, and to continue his Bong-soo act at Someday to facilitate contact. Hearing of this later, Ajumma reiterates her opposition: She doesn’t like Moon-ho because he’s a facile liar. Plus, why does Jung-hoo want to clear his father’s name now, at this late date?

His answer makes her gape: “Because I want to tell her. Chae Young-shin.†He’s willing to admit to his thieving Healer duties, but not so comfortable with the my-dad-was-a-killer part.

Jung-hoo supposes that Young-shin will probably want to beat him up for lying at first, “But she’ll get over it right away, because she’s that kind of person.â€

He guesses that ajumma’s ready to replace the Healer now, but asks her to hold off until he can clear Dad’s name. He has an uneasy feeling, and asks her to have his back for just a while longer. Ajumma just stares at her computer screen—and the new email that’s arrived from Young-shin. To tell or not to tell?

Young-shin arrives to a bustling office in the morning, busy in the wake of President Hwang’s suicide. Moon-ho directs his employees, sending reporters out on assignment and dealing with server problems; they’ll have to move overseas to skirt interference.

Young-shin asks Jung-hoo for the skinny, but curiously he just ignores her, leaving her hanging. Aw, is he playing the part of spurned suitor? When Moon-ho sends Young-shin on assignment, she automatically calls for Bong-soo to assist, but he ignores her again. To her confusion, he then jumps up to tag along with Moon-ho today, leaving her wondering at the sudden shift in dynamics.

Young-shin asks Bong-soo if he’s avoiding her because of their rooftop talk. He just says evasively, “Um… can you… step aside?†When she asks point-blank if he dislikes talking with her, he replies, “Yes.†HAHA. She’s so confused and disappointed at the sight of Bong-soo walking off chummily with Moon-ho, like the two have become best friends overnight. This is so great.

But the air is strained once they’re alone, as Moon-ho reminisces and Jung-hoo listens in annoyance. Moon-ho says he should’ve guessed his identity sooner, to which Jung-hoo snaps, “That would never have happened.†He bristles at Moon-ho’s familiarity and asks, “Are you going to keep doing that? Acting friendly?â€

Moon-ho eyes him with sympathy as he asks how he ended up as the Healer, but Jung-hoo remains aloof and pointedly calls him Boss. Moon-ho reminds him that he used to call him Uncle.

They arrive at Moon-ho’s family junkyard, which he describes as home base for the friends and their pirate broadcasting activities. We see the flashback through Jung-hoo’s perspective, playing near his father while the friends worked and goofed off together. Moon-ho recalls, “The scenes in my memory are all like that—they’re laughing, caring, and warm.â€

healer11-00231.jpg

Jung-hoo cuts him short every time Moon-ho’s nostalgia gets too long-winded for him, and when Moon-ho mentions feeling glad to reunite with an old acquaintance, Jung-hoo says curtly that he doesn’t need to know that feeling.

Moon-ho asks kindly, “Do you have any friends? And do you have anyone to ask whether you have friends?â€

Jung-hoo can’t meet his eye, and fidgets uncomfortably before putting up his bravado again, saying that he doesn’t trust Boss yet. He points out Moon-ho’s extensive investigation of Young-shin, while acting none the wiser to her face. He advises Moon-ho to drop the interest in him.

Moon-ho returns to his recounting, arriving at that day in 1992. In flashback, we see Gil-han and Joon-seok arriving together to see Moon-shik. Established as a hit reporter-photographer duo, they’re working on a new story and ask Moon-shik to borrow a car. Slush funds are being transferred tomorrow, and they want to follow; they even enlist Moon-shik as driver, like old times, so he can be in on the action.

Moon-ho recalls how the three friends headed out the next morning… and then Gil-han was dead, and Joon-seok arrested for killing him. And Moon-shik was the witness.

Moon-ho arrives at the point at hand: They need to get to the police records of Joon-seok’s interrogation when he was arrested. Moon-ho has been blocked at every turn, and he hands over a package containing all his research. He admits that he couldn’t trust the Healer either, and that he tipped off the police that the Healer would be lurking near Young-shin.

Annoyed, Jung-hoo excuses himself and heads off. Watching his exit, Moon-ho envisions Joon-seok walking next to Jung-hoo, as father and son display the exact same mannerisms. It brings a tear to his eye.

Detective Yoon and his partner find it suspicious how quickly the Hwang suicide is being wrapped up. Hwang’s suicide note is awfully convenient and informative, naming several names of important politicians as bribe-takers.

Thus Detective Yoon concludes that the Healer has aligned himself with powerful people, because they’ve managed to free him from murder suspicions very easily. Ack, a shrewd inference, except it’s wrong! Detective Yoon is just smart enough to be a royal pain in the ass—he knows enough to cause trouble, but not to solve it.

Thankfully, ajumma’s faster than Detective Yoon and hacks into the database to doctor Bong-soo’s driver’s license. An officer had pulled it up previously when it bore the original face, but he’d been distracted before showing it to Detective Yoon.

Anticipating the media furor, the Chaes arrange to have Yeon-hee moved to another location, with the family of a former client that Dad defended pro bono. Dad and Young-shin both awkwardly decline drawn-out goodbyes, only to have Yeon-hee ignore them and give her heartfelt thanks anyway.

Detective Yoon drops by the cafe looking for Young-shin, and takes a look around her father’s office. He asks if her father is in the habit of recording his consultations, and as she’s replying no, Detective Yoon spots a recording device tucked into a planter. And another one in the bookcase. Ack!

Young-shin is totally stunned, but plays it cool as the detective asks if she knows the Healer. He notes the interesting timing of events—Healer steals a video from Hwang, that video ends up in Someday’s hands, Hwang dies.

Young-shin replies that the Healer is known for not killing people, but the detective merely says that info must be out-of-date, since he is currently suspected for two murder cases. He implies that Healer forced Hwang to write his suicide note, or forged it.

Young-shin holds her shock in and feigns indifference to all this news, slapping on a smile.

Jung-hoo settles back in his Healer pad to start reading Moon-ho’s research, while Min-ja gets ready to open a can of worms. She’s finally decided to alert him to Young-shin’s email, admitting that it took her some time to think over how to handle this.

Listening only with half his attention, he tells her to read it aloud, but the moment she reads the subject line (“I am Chae Young-shinâ€), he jumps up and orders her to stop. Ajumma forwards it, and then hilariously starts singing along to “

â€â€”you know, that song about the ambiguousness of the dating game: It feels like you are, but you’re not, but kind of are mine / It feels like I am, but am not, but kind of am yours…

Jung-hoo reads the email, rapt. (And trips over his own feet.

Young-shin: “I am Chae Young-shin. I must meet you, Healer-nim. If you don’t want me to see you, I will cover my eyes again. If you tell me not to say anything, I won’t make a sound… To have you comply and come to me, and watch from somewhere behind me—that’s all I want. That’s enough. And so, this is also a request for a date. Will you accept?â€

At home, Young-shin gets dressed with anticipation. Jung-hoo heads for his closet too, disregarding ajumma’s continued warnings against it. She hits where it hurts, though, pointing out that Young-shin has a pretty good life, and can expect to meet a respectable young man with a stable career, who would give her every security in life. Jung-hoo, on the other hand, has never shown his face to her, can’t even tell her his name, and has nothing to offer but random talk about an island.

Jung-hoo feels those words, but counters, “Then… I can just show her. My face.â€

Min-ja retorts that revealing himself to her makes Young-shin an accomplice to his accused crimes in the eyes of the law. And that makes Jung-hoo reconsider. Min-ja urges him to leave Young-shin alone, and he sighs that he should at least reply to her question.

All dolled up, Young-shin heads out for her date, pausing briefly to recall Detective Yoon’s warnings about Healer being dangerous. She shakes aside the thought, and spots the cops stationed outside to monitor her safety. Good thing for her, they’re not too attentive.

As she sneaks out, her voice narrates the rest of her email, which informs the Healer how the date ought go to. First, they’d start by walking together, just talking and laughing. She notes the happy couples doing just that as she walks on alone, arriving at the next date stop, a food stand. She eats alone while wistfully watching other couples doing as she describes, bickering about what to order.

Then, time for a movie. She goes to the cinema alone, saying that they don’t have to sit together, that it’s enough that they both see the same thing. She promises to wait for him there, and asks, “How long should I wait?â€

She waits in the lobby for hours until she’s kicked out at closing time. She leaves the building in disappointment, shoulders slumping—until suddenly, the revolving doors start to spin, as though inviting her back inside.

She wanders into the lobby until she comes upon a hallway, and it’s lit with candles. Oh, Jung-hoo, you’re such a romantic it kind of hurts. Heart lifting, Young-shin follows the lit path through doors that open automatically for her.

healer11-00473.jpg healer11-00496.jpg

Inside an empty theater, a spot has been prepared for her. She takes a seat just as something dings, and the stuffed rabbit on the table plays a recorded message (in ajumma’s voice, lol), asking what kind of movie she likes. She decides to go with whichever movie is longest—and then, the sound of footsteps makes her freeze. Omg omg. I can’t handle this. I need a higher-pitched word than squee.

Young-shin tenses in anticipation, and Jung-hoo takes a seat in the back row; his face is uncovered, but she doesn’t turn to look. Then the lights dim.

The movie plays (it’s Lee Seung-gi and Moon Chae-won’s Today’s Love), and Jung-hoo spends much of the time just watching Young-shin. By degrees they both settle in and start enjoying the movie, and then it ends.

The lights come back on. Young-shin gets up to find the theater empty, her mood now sinking with the return of reality. Jung-hoo watches from around the corner as she slowly heads for the exit, both of them feeling heavy-hearted.

And then, his hand shoots out and grabs her arm.

 healer11-00559.jpg

She stops there in the open doorway, and they stand there facing opposite directions while being inches apart. Appropriately, she’s in the light while he hangs back in the darkness.

His hand reaches down to hers, fingers intertwining, holding tight. The moment stretches out as they both drink it in, and you can read on their faces how momentous this contact is. Finally he has to let go, but it’s with a smile that she can walk on.

Outside, she finds a car waiting for her, its driver holding up a matching stuffed doll to signal that he’s Healer-sent. Jung-hoo watches her leave with those sad eyes.

Moon-shik receives an angry visit from Assemblyman Kim, who accuses Moon-shik of masterminding his downfall. We know that Kim dug his own grave, but he accuses Moon-shik of engineering this to usurp Kim’s position as future Seoul mayor.

Ever unflappable, Moon-shik has Kim escorted out. He receives the latest message from the Healer, who has agreed to discard that video (the one that involves the Elder, which he’d used to threaten him with) now that the Hwang case is no longer a threat. Moon-shik chuckles and decides, “I want to have the Healer.â€

Secretary Oh points out that it’ll be difficult since they tried to pin him for murder and all, but Moon-shik tells him to proceed in their usual way—either bring the desired person onboard, or get rid of him.

Secretary Oh also worries about Myung-hee’s outing today, because she has gone to meet Joon-seok’s widow (Jung-hoo’s mother). Moon-shik acts like he’s calm about it, but for once he’s visibly upset.

Myung-hee meets Jung-hoo’s mother in a cafe, and the latter is too burdened with the past to even look her in the eye. Myung-hee assures her that she’s never believed Joon-seok was guilty, but Jung-hoo’s mother says that in the eyes of the world, her husband killed Myung-hee’s husband.

Myung-hee reaches for her hand, but she draws back. But Mom finally looks up at mention of the young man Myung-hee saw recently who reminded her of Joon-seok. Myung-hee says she knows why Mom left Jung-hoo—to protect him from the world’s censure, because staying would mean he’d be marked by his father’s stigma.

“I’ve lost a child too,†Myung-hee reminds her. “I wanted to meet you and hold hands. We used to be close.â€

But Mom contradicts her. Yes, she didn’t want Jung-hoo hearing “murderer’s son†his whole life, but she had another reason. She’d done anything and everything trying to clear her husband’s name, until she was told to quit and remain quiet if she wanted to make sure Jung-hoo was safe.

Myung-hee sits up in alarm—who said that? Mom looks at her in genuine surprise. “You live with him,†she says. “I thought you had to know.†Ooh. That’s got to put a crack in that trust.

Young-shin practically dances into the office the next morning, feeling great. But “everyone†is gone, and she asks where “they all†went, though by “everyone†she really means Bong-soo, who is out on the boss’s secret orders. She sputters in indignation, wondering why those two are suddenly so tight: “Why are they so friendly? Why?!â€

She marches up to Moon-ho’s window, and he smiles widely at her while closing the blinds shut in her face. HAHA.

It’s because he’s on the phone with Jung-hoo, informing him about the police records pertaining to his father. Jung-hoo’s on his way to the station now, and Moon-ho suggests that he wait until nighttime. But that means increased security, so Jung-hoo takes a different approach, dressing as a salaryman while Min-ja works her hacker mojo.

Jung-hoo enters a restaurant frequented by office employees at lunch, and scopes out the faces until he finds a target. He strategically trips near him, dropping food down the man’s front, and then smoothly swipes the man’s ID badge when he washes up in the bathroom. That allows him to pass through security, his head bowed to avoid the cameras.

Once inside, he accidentally-on-purpose drops some files being transported by a file clerk, and helps him pick them up. Striking up friendly conversation as they walk to the records room, Jung-hoo is allowed easy entry, and from there he tracks down the appropriate section.

healer11-00697.jpg

He finds his father’s filebox… which is empty, all its pages replaced by blank sheets. Moon-ho isn’t surprised but is still dismayed, and while he has a few guesses as to who’s responsible, he’s not certain.

Jung-hoo merely replies that they’ll have to find out, then. Connecting next with Min-ja, he informs her of his plan: Direct family members are allowed access to those reports. Min-ja balks: “Are you crazy? Yes, you’re crazy.â€

Crazy or not, Jung-hoo presents his ID card with the request form at the front desk. This time he’s dressed as something of a slacker/party boy, looking empty-headed and chewing gum carelessly.

healer11-00718.jpg healer11-00732.jpg

The clerk inputs the request, which pulls up a warning that the file is restricted. Furthermore, this pings an alert to Moon-shik, informing him that somebody is requesting access to the file. It’s the son.

Moon-shik delegates the matter to someone else, since he has another destination today. He arrives at the Someday office just as Young-shin is leaving, and calls her by name, introducing himself. She’s happy to shake the hand of the important media mogul.

Looking utterly unconcerned, Jung-hoo waits at the station, where he’s detained by officers. He maintains a cheerfully blank facade as he’s led into an interrogation room, looking around idly and waiting to see how he’s treated.

COMMENTS

So many great moments in this episode. I was dying to see how Moon-ho would use his information, and I wasn’t disappointed—either in his character, or in the way this spins our story into the next direction.

I found Moon-ho’s reaction to finding Jung-hoo really moving, because it felt so inviting and genuine. I haven’t always been certain of Moon-ho’s motivations (there’s such a complex web of emotions driving him that it seems simplistic to chalk it up to one word, like guilt or redemption), but he was so sincerely relieved to see Jung-hoo here in front of him—and then, there was that extra punch when he realized that Jung-hoo wasn’t living a happy life abroad as his mother said, but was actually quite lonely and neglected. So here he is, happy to see him yet confronted with another life whose sadness he’s responsible for, however indirectly. It’s pretty heavy, and a fortunate thing that Yoo Ji-tae is so wonderful with gravitas.

I really felt for Moon-ho’s reaction to Jung-hoo at the junkyard, where Jung-hoo was snappish and defensive, trying to act like he didn’t care while obviously caring deeply. Moon-ho felt like a parent with an errant teenager in that moment, where even as Jung-hoo was lashing out at him, he regarded him with gentleness and acceptance. Anything Jung-hoo might say, Moon-ho was going to take, with no retorts or counterattacks. It may be the closest example of unconditional love Jung-hoo has been shown in ages (or ever), and I freaking love that it comes from Moon-ho.

healer11-00309.jpg

On the flipside of that is Jung-hoo’s reaction, all full of bravado and false fronts. He puts up that act like he is just sooooo bored by Moon-ho and his feelings, but it’s almost frightening how transparent that facade is, ready to shatter under the weight of too much scrutiny. He has every reason to be wary of Moon-ho, but his sense of longing is palpable, and I wonder if perhaps he’s afraid of his own desire to trust in him.

Goodness knows there’s a long way both men have to travel for that trust to build, but I so want to see it happen. Because how hilarious is it to watch Healer and Moon-ho being buddy-buddy at Someday News all of a sudden? Sure it’s just an act for the outside world, but it’s so entertaining. And as great is it is to watch Young-shin and Bong-soo together, or to watch Bong-soo being jealous when she’s off with Moon-ho, it’s even more awesome to see her disgruntlement when she’s the odd one out and now the boys are suddenly as thick as thieves. It’s unclear whether her complaint is more because of Bong-soo or Moon-ho, and that makes it hilarious.

It may be premature to say she’s jealous of Bong-soo being closer to somebody else other than herself, but I would dearly love to see her unconsciously missing him, and taking a while to realize why. I love how Bong-soo’s reaction is the completely normal thing for a guy who’s been rejected, and yet in this case we know it’s completely faked, and that her angst is unwarranted. But it’s also satisfying, in true Healer fashion, since it’s so much fun to watch the scenario play out the obvious way while knowing that there’s another layer going on. So she can stew for a little while, and I can enjoy seeing her pout that Bong-soo’s no longer hanging on her every word.

healer11-00181.jpg

Not that the girl has anything to complain about, not after her Healer date. I loved everything about this date, from the way she made the first move (particularly after he tried but failed to think of a way to keep in touch) to the way he executed the details. There are certainly things that Korean dramas may not pull off well, but one thing that really works for me is in the instances of repressed emotion that become somehow much more powerful than the grand declarations or gestures.

The scene is utterly simple, with no words exchanged and little physical movement—but we feel every beat and understand the feelings from moment to moment. The hand-hold is one thing, but even better for me was the expressions on their faces in the moment, not despite their distance but because of it. They’re looking in opposite directions, facing away, separated by the doorway, but it’s like they’re feeling every aspect of their closeness in a palpable way. I love the small touches that carry meaning, such as Young-shin being literally awash in light while Jung-hoo’s shrouded in shadows, her dressed in white, him in black. They have one point of connection—literally, and symbolically—but it’s an intense one nonetheless. For now, it’s enough for them, as Young-shin noted in her email… although okay, fine, I’ll always want more. Gah, now I’m getting greedy because I just keep wanting more. At least I know better than to be ungrateful. Thank you, Healer-ya! Also, please give me more of all the things!

bc we are so obsessed

i feel pretty Healerholic right now lol

yea i think it was the original gifs problem :(( sorry

i just want to see the episode so much so i can properly drown in my emotions

he is weird lol that is why we love him. He is a dorky, scary cat, handsome, dashing oppa

i didnt know there were so many names out there   i guess it is getting really popular among ifans

Make me curious, are those gif his shaking booty? :har:

Hope the recap can fill your day

Remember when he shook his booty in bts 6, he can't dance for sure :har: wonder if he currently dating someone, while Park Min Young said her resolution this year is having boyfriend, I SHIP THEM

Yessss! Just sad the subs still come slow, my download app can't work stable on viki link, I want rewatching it without open the site, oh even viki still stuck in 98% now meanwhile Punch and Pride-Prejudice already up everywhere :._.:

Thanks!

For me, I am definitely in Young Shin - Healer. It is one of the novel romanticism that I greatly enjoy, especially when YS confessed to Healer through Bong Soo, not even mentioning all their encounters here haha. YS - BS is nice but it is lacking the feeling. But the relationship between them is so cute though, especially the way YS reacting to BS ignoring her.  Hacker ahjumma - detective Yoon is a plus! What would drama land be without these side pairings?  YS - Jung Hoo is not really there for me. From the beginning, it is clear that he is looking after her as a uncle/father figure. Jung Hoo - Moon Ho is still leaving much to desire since they have only begun to interact. Expecting more from this bromance in future episode!

Honestly, I was also expecting a heated confrontation between Moon Ho and Healer here since MH specifically requested Healer to stay away from YS. However, I did not account in the fact that MH already suspected Bong Soo to be Jung Hoo after his sister-in-laws talked to him regarding a man that looks like Jung Seok. I guess that the reason MH tuned into a mom . That wrecking yard scene and MH's motherly face when he is looking after JH is the highlight of this episode for me, over the movie date!

The drama has been handling all the revelation well so far. My concern is how Young Shin will react to:

- Bong Soo is healer: as you mentioned, she loves him! That's all what matter, no matter it is healer or Bong Soo.

- Bong Soo/Healer is Jung Hoo, whose father killed her father: this worries me a bit, especially if JH and MH have not yet been able to find out the truth and clear JH's father crime. I just hope there will not be a lot of sad and heartbreaking scenes!

As I am typing this, KBS World is showing the episode when Jung Hoo confessed his feeling about Young Shin to ahjumma. The music is so nice ah ~

Noone can't resist Superman-Spiderman korean version. But excuse me even at the beginning Jung Hoo - Moon Ho already done personal contact too ballerina-crazy-rabbit-emoticon.gif?1292hehe. PLEASE SUPPORT OUR BROMANCE!

NOO NOOOO NOOOOOOOO I won't imagine such a thing, Young Shin maybe didn't believe that Healer had killed two men, but if she know that his father had suspect as murderer of her father, I don't know anymore what will she react. Maybe that's why Kim Moon Shik there, why he there! OMG what was he done to the peaceful world, why he doesn't afraid with karma. Hope he's kind of Severus Snape, but the Secretary Oh and maybe the ex-Mayor and of course the Elder will do something bad to our trio boohoo-crazy-rabbit-emoticon.gif?1292793

Bromance off-screen is even better!

Yes! Remember in entertainment weekly when Yoo Ji Tae called him cute no-no-crazy-rabbit-emoticon.gif?12927937and he shares same birthday with Ji Tae's son no-no-crazy-rabbit-emoticon.gif?12927937no-no-crazy-rabbit-emoticon.gif?12927937

Just skimmed through the raw. It seems like you are right. Kim Moon Shik may not be as bad as I thought since he did not really abandon Jin Ah. Such a twist! Redemption incoming? On the other hand, look like Young Shin will find Healer and learn his identity. The writer(s) are quite good at these simple and not overly done revelation! I will have more inputs once I watch the full sub version!

May I have the link for that Weekly Entertainment episode?

Those Stills!

Many one thought that at the car scene, Moonsik supposed to bring Ji An to the Elder but he didn't do that and choose the other way to make Ji An lost on street. Maybe? Not because Moonsik a bad man but because he just like Moonho has crime of his silent mode over the justice. Hope Elder not kill him boohoo-crazy-rabbit-emoticon.gif?1292793And no, it's not Youngshin who save Junghoo, judging on the text preview. But maybe yes, episode 13 she will know that Bongsoo is Healer. Did you already watch the full subs? Let's spazz!

re: Healer ep 11

So Jung Hoo's father is a suspect for the murder of Gil Han. Seems like the writer is foreshadowing that someone else killed Gil Han. I still think that Moon Shik has something to do w/ Gil Han's death. I have a feeling that the day that they were going to track the movement of the slush funds is the day that the Elder took Moon Shik in. I hope Myung Hee starts to become suspicious of her husband. I love Jung Hoo's hip-hop fashion.

Sorry for late reply. We still don't know how Gil Han died, in car accident, or in the crime monetary scene, or in their house attack, or because poisoned by Secretary Oh which we know now as Lawyer Baek. Too many mysteries. I think Moonshik as a witness of Gil Han dead, not murdered by Joonseok, but someone from Elder side. She already is, and Moonsik being suspicious to her too. Nooooooooooooooo. I thought that was Russian fashion, so it's hip hop's one? music-crazy-rabbit-emoticon.gif?12927937

Yes, I finished watching the full sub! On that car scene, it is not clear what is going on. Ji ah accidentally disappeared might have brought up a thought to his mind. It could be like you mentioned; Moon sik is supposed to bring Ji ah to Elder, but he decided to let it slide that Ji ah disappeared on her own. But the question here is that why does he need to bring her to the Elder? Where exactly was he taking her anyway?

I also hope that Moon sik would not be killed by Elder, but Elder does not seem like a person that would go down quietly. What worries me is the fact that we have seen blood!!! I am scared of what might come next

So they have decided to let Young shin play some detective games! I would be happy if she found healer there. I can foresee some angst and uneasy moments for me in future episode haha

About that ring and dating, of course, one can wish!

Edit: Forgot to mention that, I used to wonder what would make Ji Chang Wook so shocked in your signature! Well, he literally got shocked!

Yay, let's spazz.

My thought, Ji An saw thing she wasn't supposed to see, as witness all the incident. Elder ever said and looks like he believes that Ji An is Moon Shik's weakness. Why? Maybe Moon Shik promised to Myung Hee to find her daughter but at the same time Elder want to got rid of Ji An, young Moon Shik at that moment had no power just as 'driver' for the Elder after Myung Hee got paralyzed after the incident, wanted to save both of the girl.

Judging from previous Song Ji Na work, Faith. She can kill the most important roles. She already kill Go Song Cheul and President Hwang. Let's hope noone died again boohoo-crazy-rabbit-emoticon.gif?1292793

Angst, uneasy moment, then teary scene, many tiny punches from Young Shin, and then we'll get passionate kiss :har:  I like that idea

You ship ChangMin too? /high five

He's shocking face really cute. He has lovely smile and really cute like thatlove-you-crazy-rabbit-emoticon.gif?12927How can't not love him

ep 12 was too much omg

and damn that cliffhanger. i can't even

Too much blood boohoo-crazy-rabbit-emoticon.gif?1292793but we get hand porn there :har:

YES, WE REALLY NEED PREVIEW! Kbs so evil

About Moon Shik taking Ji Ah to the elder, I actually think he was taking her to her mom. Remember she asked him to look for her daughter and on the flashback it showed when he found her. I think when she gets lost she doesnt look for her bc he thinks it would help him to have a relationship with her mom if she is out of the picture.

So Ep. 13 she doesnt immediately find out about Bong Soo, I am glad

Welcome!! now that you found it you are addicted like us

Somehow I still believe Moon Shik isn't bad man. Yes, that scene when Myung Hee in hospital. Young Moon Shik has very difficult face to read. And I put him as Severus Snape here. When Ji An lost he relieved that she'll save with someone help her from street than must facing the Elder to be killed, he has no power to save her. I don't think it's just because the marriage thingy, more like he want save everyone with make him a slave for the darkness... but, I don't know too, this show has too many mysteries no-no-crazy-rabbit-emoticon.gif?12927937

I'm sad too, we can't see Young Shin nursing 50cm bare shoulder, I mean Healer's huge triceps, biceps... Wonder who will save him, should we make a poll for this?

does the preview mean that young shin wont be the one to rescue bong soo from the rooftop? because i really want to see more of young shin's guessing game on the connection between bong soo and healer the hand scene was really....intense lol i want more of that. MY HEAAART

Yes, hope she will use her gangster samchoones power to resolve the puzzle together with that weird Detective Yoon. They are so cute and silly together, hope the detective in Healer side rn, because he followed SS guard, although Mr. SS still in the most silly guy here magic-right-crazy-rabbit-emoticon.gif?12

LOL, am I the only one who like that confession more? I must be weird then. Just that when Young Shin confessed to Bong Soo that she likes healer, I just love because it is full of feelings and the way bong soo reacted to that was also priceless.

Omo. Forgot about that scene. Yes, Young shin already felt something for Bong Soo but it seems she's confused. Her heart is for Healer but she feels a strong attraction towards Bong Soo. If only she knew that they're the same person.

I really need more flashbacks of them when they were kids.

Drama Club: Healer Episode 11 Recap

by Amy Gephart on Sun, Jan 18, 2015

Welcome to another exciting episode of Healer! Our hero is trying to find out what actually happened to his father, Moon Ho knows who Healer is, and Young Shin wants to get closer to him! Come discuss all of the exciting details with Tiara, Pamela, and Amy!

BIpPpmV9KufKIOJuupDlZmXiG-xQACuFuaFC3Y-t

Amy: Poor Jung Hoo is going through a really hard time! He wants to find out if his father really is a killer and if he isn’t, what actually happened to him. Moon Ho seems like he is holding back information but I don’t know if that is because he is afraid of people getting hurt or he is just selfish. I was so surprised when Jung Hoo revealed that he is Healer, though! I guess he will do anything to clear his dad’s name.

Tiara: Mad props to the writer for making a bold move by revealing Healer to Moon Ho. I was worried how Moon Ho would’ve reacted to finding out Jung Hoo’s secret identity. Color me shock, but the drama nailed this out of the park. Moon Ho seems to be thrilled to see him. Sad, but very happy. I mean his first thought is a memory of the past when he would watch over him and Ji Ahn. I’m still not quite sure what are Moon Ho’s true intentions in the grand scheme, however, this moment and the one at the junkyard is genuine.

Oh Amy, Moon Ho is definitely keeping secrets. I mean he lied right off the bat about Ji Ahn being dead which was selfish. However, I’m not sure if the secrets he has will be any help at this point in time. I get the feeling Moon Ho might be waiting to make his move.

Pamela: Moon Ho is waiting for “the opportune moment,†as Captain Jack Sparrow put it. In a way, I am glad that Jung Hoo revealed himself to Moon Ho - my heart isn’t, but the show gives me too much excitement to handle, anyway - and that Moon Ho has treated him as he has. There are a lot of secrets, but enough information has been revealed that Jung Hoo has a few answers, even if many more questions have arisen. Moon Ho is secretive this way, but he also cares enough about his past to want to keep Jung Hoo around, be he an accomplice or a tool.

TThkhqaEGM3uNiJE4gxLgP6RNg22keglVhytYIyD

Amy: Oh Detective Yoon. I understand why you think that way but you are being played big time. Someone wants to frame Healer to get him out of the way. If you could realize that it would be awesome because then you, Healer, and hacker ahjumma could form an awesome team of people who can catch the people behind all of these crimes.

Tiara: I’m glad Detective Yoon is suspicious as it makes for a better character and detective. Sadly, he’s attaching onto the wrong fish. He obsessed over Healer, he’s missing important clues about the big picture. Apparently, he doesn’t see the man behind the curtain which leads him to being played. I’m right there with you Amy. Detective Yoon better open his eyes and join Team Healer soon. I smell a promotion in his future if he can take down the Elder.

Pamela: On one hand, I agree the detective is developing nicely; he’s being set up for someone I hope can be a great ally for the Healer squad once he gets his priorities of suspicion straight. *pouts* I just want to flail over him, too. Until that happens, I will grit my teeth and laugh at his opinions of Healer. Until that happens, I will keep wishing for him to get that decisive piece of evidence that brings him over to our protagonist’s side. The downfall of Creepyung and the Elder (or one of the two) is something I hope will be full of alliances and satisfaction.

7DPWRaOCn-NdZJ4eKkVXfoTvEBFFqbkD8rrUY6fC

Amy: Well, you gotta keep yourself entertained, right? Hacker ahjumma finally told Jung Hoo about the email Healer received from Young Shin and he wants to answer! Young Shin wants to go on a date and Jung Hoo is willing because he wants to be by Young Shin’s side to protect her. Ahjumma is against it because Detective Yoon is on Healer’s trail and she is afraid Jung Hoo’s identity will be revealed but she should know that she can’t stop him!

Tiara: What was Healer’s email again? If this is what it takes, I want a date too.

Oh young love, you can’t stop it. Ahjumma isn’t going to be able to keep her Healer in line no more. She didn’t have to tell him about the email, but I’m happy she did. In Jung Hoo’s life, Ahjumma has been the only one to have stayed. She could’ve abandoned him like his mom, grandma, and Teacher. Instead, she’s giving him advice and sticking with him. I wonder if she gave him the email because she understands his loneliness. She may not like the situation, but is secretly happy for him.

Pamela: Tiara-unni, I completely agree. The relationship between Ahjumma and Jung Hoo is so snarky, yet it is also just so sweet. She may be concerned for him for the sake of money, her own safety, or out of sheer concern, but it’s a good thing she told him about the email. It’s bad for my face, as I can’t stop grinning, but it’s good for Jung Hoo. As a bonus, Ahjumma gets to live vicariously through setting up the date between him and Young Shin, haha.

xF_ZLVQ5W71SPbQ5Od9l6IKBRJcw81Zv4acMJRGH

Amy: Awwww! Look at that hand hold! Get your girl, Jung Hoo! This was the sweetest date without talking I’ve seen. Young Shin just wanted to be in Healer’s presence and she didn’t care whether she saw him or not. So adorably romantic!

Tiara: A simple theatre date with battery candles and a stuffed bunny. These two aren’t evening sitting next to each other during the movie and there’s so much meat to this relationship. Jung Hoo isn’t into the movie at first until he starts to enjoyed it with Young Shin. Adorable. The hand-holding just gave me heart palpitation. Young Shin doesn’t even take a peek at Healer. She could’ve turned to look at the darken theatre door, but no she looks off dreamily towards the front. There’s no need for words nor does Young Shin want to know Healer’s identity.

No really, what was the email again ...

Pamela: I have had [email protected] engraved in my brain for this very reason. I swear, the beauty, silence, and emotional connection of this date has forever ruined the prospect of my first date (if it ever comes - I’ll be too busy watching dramas to have one). Jung Hoo and Young Shin do not have to lock eyes for the mysterious and sweet romance between them to grow. Young Shin respects Healer too much for that. In addition, Jung Hoo trusts her enough to allow the proximity within the theater to take place. There are secrets being kept from Young Shin, but there are also comfort and safety to bind her to him.

Tiara: Thanks Pamela. *wink*

vwfx7yZ29xe5QCcStKLuUTf0_I5NbT1gSMOdVz4_

Amy: Now that Moon Ho knows who Jung Hoo is they’re working together to find out what happened to Jung Hoo’s father. I think that this could be a strong team if they would trust each other but I don’t think either of them really trust each other.

Tiara: Yay, it’s mission time. Operation: cobra is a go. It’s a tad weird having Moon Ho in on the mission, but on the other hand I’m super excited about him joining the team. I hope there is more of team Healer in the future. However, Moon Ho and Jung Hoo have a long way to go before they start trusting each other. Trust is earn and so far Moon Ho hasn’t earned it.

Pamela: It’s time for the Friendship Operation - Friendshiperation, if you will. This is a chance for Moon Ho to earn the trust you two are referring to, but also for both Moon Ho and Jung Hoo to delve deeper into the accident that separated them and their families back in the day (when dinosaurs roamed the earth and Barney & Friends began airing). I hope the two men can reclaim the closeness of their younger days, but mostly, I hope they can kick some...donkey butt together. Either way, Moon Ho will have to give up more information than he has to keep Jung Hoo searching.

CX_EVowuiKPWYBoAxRSsheLRvQblCn6RKWXyZvJQ

Amy: Ah! Did anyone else get the shivers when Moon Shik was acting all friendly towards Young Shin? I do not like them meeting one bit!

Tiara: Really, run girl and don’t look back. I’m not sure if keeping Young Shin in the dark is a good idea. I understand Moon Ho’s doing this with only good intentions by keeping her safe, but you can’t keep an eye on her 24/7. Plus, the police aren’t the brightest bulbs either. Young Shin has a lot of anger towards the family whom she thinks threw her away like trash. What will happen to her when the truth is presented in the form of her sick, but alive mother and horrible past? I think a pissed off Young Shin is going to take over.

Pamela: Oh, do I hope she does...But before that, her safety is in jeopardy - people want to protect her, but people also want to harm her. Cutting Young Shin off from the information loop might help the antagonists more than Moon Ho and Jung Hoo intend. All she is told is to be wary of anyone, as anyone could snatch her and hurt her at anytime, but she doesn’t know which of these “anyone†people she needs to look out for. She doesn’t even know how connected they are to her past of separation and loss. The Healer squad may not be able to protect her for much longer in this state.

What will happen next? Will Jung Hoo and Moon Ho make a good team? Will Detective Yoon wise up? What is Moon Shik planning? Also, how adorable was that date? Let us know what you think in the comments below!

[Drama] Park Min Young starts to get suspicious of Ji Chang Wook’s identity in “Healerâ€

wpid-1421620466437_99_20150119073702.jpg

Park Min Young starts to bear suspicion towards Ji Chang Wook’s identity in “Healerâ€.

The production team of “Healer†revealed a still cut of Seo Jung Hu carried to the emergency room with Chae Young Shin beside him wearing a look of suspicion on her face.

In the released pictures, Seo Jung Hu is lying on the bed looking pale. Chae Young Shin stares at him with a sad look in her eyes that are also filled with worry, while also unable to hide her curiosity as she cranes her neck, seemingly suspicious.

In episode 12, Seo Jung Hu was faced with a desperately dangerous situation. He was attacked as he fell for the trap set by Kim Moon Shik in a bid to save his mother. A mysterious man barely managed to save him, and Seo Jung Hu who managed to escape lost consciousness and collapsed. Kim Min Ja who detected Seo Jung Hu’s critical condition contacted Chae Young Shin, telling her that “Park Bong Su is in danger.â€

From the perspective of Young Shin, it is inevitable that she gets suspicious of Park Bong Su’s actions. While in the car with her, he disappeared after saying that he had an urgent matter, and while his whereabouts were unknown, she suddenly receives a call from an unknown woman telling her that Park Bong Su is in danger. Moreover, she meets an unconscious Park Bong Su with an injury on his arm.

Surrounded by unusual circumstances, the audience are interested to see how Chae Young Shin will react to Park Bong Su now that she’s suspicious of him, and how Seo Jung Hu will explain his situation to her when he wakes up.

Another cute late recap from dramafever:

Drama Club: Healer Episode 12 Recap

by Amy Gephart on Sun, Jan 18, 2015

healer12_1.jpg

Welcome back, Healers! Let’s talk about episode 12! Jung Hoo finally admitted his feelings for Young Shin out loud, Moon Shik is up to no good, and Jung Hoo is out to prove his father’s innocence. Join Tiara, Pamela, and Amy as we try to sort everything out!

bGlf6PsTt8UrpryNvrLk4RQRR2U6mHRklmWvzyFE

Amy: Oh Moon Shik. You just don’t know when to stop do you? Greedy, selfish man. You want to protect Young Shin all of a sudden? I don’t trust him. I don’t know about you ladies but I think he is still up to no good.

Tiara: Wow, these brothers are cold and cruel. Anyone else felt the room go down in temperature? Moon Ho knows about the Elder. Does he know who the Elder is and what he’s goals are? How much of Moon Shik’s operations did he find out by bugging the office? What did Hyung do to cause Myung Hee’s accident? I’m totally creeped out by Moon Shik deciding to “protect†Ji Ahn.

Pamela: There are people trying to protect Young Shin; there are people seeking to hurt her as well. With the confusion she had over Moon Ho's and Healer’s motivations a few weeks ago, the lackey of shadiness that is Creepyung isn't as easy to pick up on as we'd like. Moon Ho is even more uncomfortable about it than we are, so I hope the answers to your questions, Tiara-unni, will be a gosh-freaking yes soon. Let’s shudder behind the computer screen in fear of Hyung and for Young Shin in the meantime.

iYxQkc6ZU9zwGG2WaClDlqL7izPtj1o5QqUZoyc0

Amy: Moon Shik got notified when Jung Hoo tried to get his dad’s case records and brought Jung Hoo to his home. Of course Jung Hoo is acting like a fun, ignorant student who just returned from Russia but sending his pictures to hacker ahjumma. I loved seeing Jung Hoo’s fun side though. Myung Hee also lied to Moon Shik AND she doesn’t think Jung Hoo’s dad killed her husband. I’m glad everyone is reaffirming his dad’s innocence. He needs to know his dad was not a bad guy.

Tiara: I agree Amy. If Myung Hee believes his father is innocent, he should too. Granted, Myung Hee just learned about Moon Shik’s threat towards Jung Hoo’s mother. Hyung knows Myung Hee lied to him, but what will his reaction be when he finds out she knows his evil dark deeds? First Myung Hee needs to find away from her gilded cage before it’s too late.

Pamela: It’s like Smile Dong Hae all over again - Myung Hee believes in the innocence in Jung Hoo and his father's name just as Anna Laker believed in the choices of her son, Dong Hae. (I apologize...I was having some reunion feels when the two had that little heart-to-heart conversation.) While Myung Hee does need Moon Shik at the moment for the sake of her health, it would be great for her to break away from him and to help Jung Hoo find the truth he deserves.

o8RxHb5DnLvPm8o4uOwBQyh3xdNyQCZYZsPT0QuK

Amy: I think it is awesome that Young Shin knows something is up with Hwang Jae Guk’s suicide case. Even though he did all kinds of bad things she wants to confirm her suspicions that it wasn’t suicide and expose what really happened. Sure it is mostly to protect Healer but she also said she feels like she has to do it as a reporter so it’s not like she’s only doing it for love right? Hee hee!

Tiara: Ah … Young Shin is becoming a true reporter. She could’ve turned a blind eye towards the President Hwang’s suicide, but something’s fishy. Of course, she wants to prove Healer has nothing to do with his death. I think it’s safe to believe Moon Ho knows who called for President Hwang’s death. Does he want to put Young Shin in harms way?

Pamela: Will Young Shin really give him a choice? Haha...She is growing more and more perceptive and willing to risk her own feelings and safety to prove the truth. (Also, to prove that Healer isn't a murderer, but details, details...) I think we give Moon Ho little credit for not being as stooped in the shady curtains as his brother. We don't know how much he has investigated or uncovered, but considering the sore relationship he is having with Moon Shik, I'm not sure he has the story behind President Hwang’s death figured out. Moon Shik, the Elder - the suspicions are there, but the evidence needed for the confrontation is not.

yvHZHu_VxZiYL7qMxLGL2D0eqaIBaLPAPGm9_rPN

Amy: Well, I can’t say that I blame Jung Hoo for being angry. I can’t say I’d be too happy if I liked someone and was lied to about their real identity. I mean, it is a big deal that Jung Hoo’s dad was framed for Young Shin’s biological father’s murder. It has to be very burdensome on him and make his desire to find out what really happened greater. You would think that but Jung Hoo told Moon Ho that he plans to protect Young Shin and would like to be left alone. Maybe he’ll just keep all of this to himself until he uncovers the truth.

Tiara: As I said before, trust is earned. Moon Ho isn’t doing himself any favors by lying. He’s just proving the point of being a victim, both him and Young Shin. Whatever horrible thing happened in the past has bleed through to current time. Personally, I don’t think Jung Hoo punched him hard enough. I’ve come to love and hate Moon Ho. He can come across as sympathetic and other times I want to throw him off a cliff. Those times are when he comes across as cunning as his Hyung and just repulse me. He should be honest and truthful towards both Jung Hoo and Young Shin.

Pamela: It’s hard to tell whether Moon Ho is hiding information because he wants to protect Jung Hoo as well as Young Shin, or because he wants to do the protecting alone. He doesn’t trust Jung Hoo enough, either, especially since he was the kid's babysitter and friend before. Jung Hoo and Young Shin have grown into capable adults with a desire to get involved. There’s only so much secrecy they can take, because Moon Ho, they are not children.

6_6LliY37EQxVmHHidtsH0qfX8AxoXpDsC6iEicZ

Amy: Yes. All of the squealing happened during that scene and then laughter because the poor guy got kicked for going in for another hug. He just needs some comforting! Poor guy. Young Shin is, of course, completely oblivious. I wonder when she’ll find out who Healer is. I do think she started to put it together when she touched Jung Hoo’s hand. It’s too bad she dismissed her suspicions. Come on, girl!

Tiara: Young Shin is totally conflicted with her feelings for Bong Soo as she hugged him back. It’s understandable for her to have emotions towards him. He’s her partner, she likes spending time with him, and she truly does care for him. I really did think she was going to throw something when Bong Soo’s attention was not attune his sunbae. Ha!!! A great conflict, the man or the superhero. Of course, I’m rooting for the man and the superhero. It is only a matter of time before she puts two and two together. It’s too early for her to notice Bong Soo’s hand has the same warmth as Healer’s but she will.

Pamela: I hope she does soon, because Jung Hoo is being both embraced (as Healer) and rejected (as Bong Soo), and the guy's going to start experiencing emotional whiplash. Each of these tender touching moments is too much for my little heart. She’s progressively figuring out the double-identity secret, and the key word here is, “progressively.†Personally, I haven’t felt an enormous drag in the dreaded middle episodes, and I’m still excited to see just how much longer it will take for Jung Hoo to be exposed.

a8zHItt7KwuyvH9Tqhv_TMQc2p2mWQUfJaP5sb6_

Amy: Aaaaaaah! What is going to happen?! Why do you have to leave us hanging like this?! Why?! You better find him, Young Shin! Why do I have to wait for my new episode? Sigh.

Tiara: NNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Why drama, why must you play with my emotions? These endings are going to kill me. Ahjumma has given her consent towards Young Shin. Does this mean we’re going to have a new member of Team Healer? Pretty please ….

Let’s get in those theory on who’s in the stairwell. My first thought is it’s Teacher. I’ve heard a odd one of Moon Ho. He doesn’t seem tall enough to be him. SInce this is dramaland and weirder things have happen, what if it’s one of the two dead men? I know, I know way out there and would kill a little of my love for how awesome the writing has been. Man, is it Tuesday yet?

Pamela: Let me take a moment to gather my alfijjgfjngjeijapihges together...Ahkiyay, we’re back in business. I thought at first that Teacher would be the one in the stairway as well, but you never know. Haha, it would help progress the plot if it was one of those two dead men, wouldn’t it? I’m glad that at least the relationship between Ahjumma and Young Shin has progressed (beyond electronic stalking on Jung Hoo’s behalf) with that phone call. In all honesty, this is one of the most anxiety-inducing cliffhanger I’ve experienced in a drama so far. No pain is greater than seeing Ji Chang Wook unconscious and bloody on a rooftop in January. *hangs on to chair for dear life waiting* *falls off chair* *sobs until Tuesday*

Amy: I honestly couldn’t figure out who was in the stairwell but teacher makes sense. I’m sobbing right there with you, Pamela! I don’t like waiting!

What do you think drama clubbers? What will happen to Jung Hoo? Will Moon Ho be able to regain his trust? When will Young Shin find out Jung Hoo's true identity? Sound off in the comments below!

Time to look for the raw and see what I missed!

I remember that I found out about this development while I was reading out the book back then. I was so bummed out that I stopped reading for weeks haha

Thanks! I have always been wondering how do you use a different set of emoticons haha.

Edit:

Just finish watching the full episode raw. RIP Young Jae! I actually dislike how the writer killed him off like that! crying1-onion-head-emoticon.gif?12928624

You're so cute love-food-crazy-rabbit-emoticon.gif?1292 And I kept hoping that otp until the epilogue came, Cho, Luna, even Ginny had no impression to me, I mean hey even Harry himself spent more time with Hermy than Ron-Hermy... I just..kill-myself-crazy-rabbit-emoticon.gif?12. Sorry

Besides, no need to be sorry; I feel the same way too. There were so much character developments between Harry and Hermy. It was a total shock to see them not ending up with each other. The whole thing with Ginny, to me, was somewhat forcefully put into the story. It literally came out of nowhere. Cho served well as the first crush for Harry; Luna has no major impression to me as well.

At this point, I will take any bait you throw at me!   Long live Teacher!

LOL @ that photo, that is exactly the level of my drawing skill though ...

MU is playing a better season than last year, but they are no where at the level of a champion. Lots of work ahead for them! And yes, MU is the first football team that I watched and followed. Still is my favorite!

/hugs/ I know Ron-Hermy is cute couple. But they overshadowing Harry own love story. And it's Harry Potter /sigh/ And the most frustration I have is Harry seems have no interest with romantic live, It's like everybody pour a love potion to his empty bottle, and the one has most love interaction with him is Dumbledore. And JR didn't help at all and said Dumbledore wasn't like woman. I think I'll stop here. It became weird. Sorryboohoo-crazy-rabbit-emoticon.gif?1292793

THANK YOU FOR BRING MY FAVE HERE ballerina-crazy-rabbit-emoticon.gif?1292Yes! Although we has no luck with amount of injuries. Very sorry to say this, United is the champion this season. We're in the big four in the league and we still have FA Cup to catch on. THANK YOU AGAIN MY FELLOW MUFC FANS dance-with-me-crazy-rabbit-emoticon.gif?

Haha... I hope it's all true, the poison thing to kill somebody in this century kinda weird. Song Ji Na always used this method since Faith era, and it's Joseon (cmiiw) era. And Healer is in nanotech era, to kill someone must use a chip which destroy the brain or something awesome hightech.

Give us our lovely Saboo live Jakkaniiiiiiiiiim

Wonder if that drawing hints some hot scene tonight, a hug love-food-crazy-rabbit-emoticon.gif?1292

let me not go why Harry and Hermione are perfect for each other

i just dont see it Ginny but that is how it was

The fact that the teacher's name is Youngjae (I didnt realize this until now my bad) makes this harder

btw i was thinking about all MU healer fans bc MU seems very popular in Korea. They are always trending during games and their fancafe is huge. English FC overall seem pretty popular but I think MU is the most popular. I actually think JCW likes MU.

i need subs

JCW so cute with his update, he understands fangirls lol

so I did a thing

B7wIfEkCQAAANAV.jpg

Yes boohoo-crazy-rabbit-emoticon.gif?1292793

Me too boohoo-crazy-rabbit-emoticon.gif?1292793

Lmao, just realize now, your Youngjae :har: Sorry  I mean we always call him teacher or Saboo, we should call him like that

YAY, PLEASE JOIN OUR CLUB dance-with-me-crazy-rabbit-emoticon.gif?It's because their nation's football player played for MUFC, that Park Ji Sung. I never see MUFC fans among kpop idols and kdrama actors, what I know Shinee Minho loves MUFC because PJS, he loves QPR too, looks like he's football fans in general. EXO Kai is Chelsea fan. Kim Sooro is Arsenal fan. Last trending topic I ever see about English FC was Liverpool game. BUT I REALLY HOPE JI CHANGWOOK LIKES MUFC. He loves football. Maybe we're destined :har: Sorry for the caps

OMG your edit! panda-emoticon-36.gif?1292863512That's really cute

I missed a lot of exciting things... Arghh..

I need to wait for subs though. Maybe soon. But I'll make sure I watch it before ep 14 tonight.

Nutella... that pic. LOL. U sure know how to humor us. I want to photoshop my photo into that photo and make it looks like JCW is putting his hand on my shoulder. * I wish it is for real. (The only time my bias put his hand on my shoulder was during Lunafly fanmeeting last year)

Viki in 98% subs :ahmagah:

You got your bias's hand on your shoulder, so lucky... I'm jelly :._.:

“Healer†Park Min-yeong reveals her feeling towards Ji Chang-wook, “Want to hug and kissâ€" alt="vhapnt.jpg">

Romance between Park Min-yeong and Ji Chang-wook touched viewers" heart.

The 13th episode of KBS 2TV drama, "Healer" depicted the tense romance of Chae Yeong-sin (Park Min-yeong) and Seo Jeong-hoo (Ji Chang-wook).

Yeong-sin was shocked to find out Jeong-hoo was Healer. However, she could not tell him she was aware of his identity now, because she was afraid she would never be able to Jeong-hoo again if she would let him know about her discovery.

Jeong-hoo became furious when Kim Moon-sik (Park Sang-won) threatened Yeong-sin"s life using mother. He went to see Kim Moon-ho (Yoo Ji-tae) but all he heard was about someone called Sir, who was above Moon-sik.

Jeong-hoo also felt jealous when he saw Yeong-sin who visited Moon-sik. Yeong-sin interviewed Moon-ho regarding Moon-sik. Moon-ho handed over material related to the case to Yeong-sin and Jeong-hoo and asked them to organize the sources. Jeong-hoo along with Yeong-sin and Lee Jong-soo (Jang Seong-beom) went to Yeong-sin"s place.

Yeong-sin and Jeong-hoo expressed their ardent feelings for each other in one"s own secretive ways. While Yeong-sin and Jeong-hoo were having a conversation standing next to each other, Yeong-sin mentioned about Healer and said she would like to hug him, talk to him and kiss him. She of course meant to say it to Jeong-hoo. The concealed romantic relationship between the two continued in such a tense way. Curiosity heightened as to how the love of Yeong-sin and Jeong-hoo will be concluded in the end.

"Healer" is a refreshing and brilliant action romance about the young generation who fight against the remnant of the society left by the parents" generation.
