Being nice or flirting?

Recommended Posts

Me again. Still haven't made a move, but I feel if I actually get a grip on the messages, and if that's what he's trying to convey to me, then maybe I will actually make a move. Y'all got my back.

TL;DR: Boy I'm living with, have massive crush on. POSSIBLY likes me back, but can't be sure if he's being nice or if he's flirting with me.

So here's what we've had (or what he does with me that's different to the other girls we're living with): He has constant cute nicknames for me (as opposed to pretty insulting ones to everyone else), he always goes out of his way to be next to me in any situation e.g. watching a movie, sitting at dinner. He compliments my body at the gym, even though he's insisting I don't need to go. Oh man, he's always the one there when I'm feeling shitty with blankets and cuddles and head kisses. On nights out, he says 'He'd rather stay and look at me rather than try and pull', he tries to put me off other guys (Had a thing with someone for a loooong time), and then the other night we spent the entire night lying next to each other and holding hands and he kept kissing my shoulder/neck/face/whatever he could reach, BUUUT he was slightly tipsy. I don't know if guys do that with all girls.

So I mean....should I make a move? Is that just friendly? I don't know.

I don't think that's just friendly... I guess is flirting unless he is that way with everyone. Also, you won't know unless you ask him first.

I have a lot of guy friends, but most of them aren't super touchy with you (kisses, cuddling) unless they like like you.

I'd say go for it, and if he doesn't, well...I guess not.

OT: But who's the waving guy in your sig?  :ahmagah:

In reply to both of you...idk if flirting is the right word, but I've never really seen him do it to anyone else. So I don't know if it's just a friend thing, or...

This is reassuring though

I think he likes you.

I've heard that what people do/say is true to what they feel whenever they are drunk in certain cases.

K-Dramas might have backed me up, but you know it's true.

:hurr:

"BUUUT he was slightly tipsy. I don't know if guys do that with all girls."

If he's the type of kiss anyone while being drunk, then it might have been an accident.

If not, qurl, he obvi likes you.

When it becomes awkward between y'all (after he remembers), make the first move. I'm 99% sure he likes you.

The guy waving in my signature is Ray (Hyunil) from C-Clown. He's the lead vocal and visual. ^^

I think he probably he at least considers you a very close friend if he does this only towards you. He's showing some sort of affection (which is really cute!).

You think? He just gets loud when he's drunk, but he doesn't kiss anyone so...I'm feeling hopeful. This is again, reassuring af. Thank you kdramas.

hmm these signs are definitely signs of interest

but i wonder why he hasn't asked you out yet. he doesn't sound like a shy / inexperienced guy...

maybe he doesn't want to mess up the living situation in case you reject him, or in case you guys do go out but then break up later on - those scenarios would create a lot of awkwardness and potentially even drama at home (smart guy imo, you probably should give this point some thought too if you do decide to go ahead and make a move)
