Based on that IG post from Jessie, guess she has been following EB's progress on Produce 101. Speaking of Produce 101, how has EB been doing on it if anyone has been keeping tabs on it?

Best bet would be to ask https://twitter.com/19930406_com/with_replies

Damn it :( I really thought she was going to go far.

Also, is this group thing with Jessie still happening in the future or is that still to be decided?

Well, they're not following each other on instagram anymore so who knows.

Jessie is out of the company though.

Maybe BlackSwan will still happen but not with Jessie.

Ummmmm guys. This is fucking strange as fuck.

On April 19, Seoul's Southern Regional Police Department revealed that GM Musicfiled lawsuits against 'Produce 101's Choi Eun Bin for contract violation and scamming.

According to reports, Choi Eun Bin visited GM Music at the beginning of 2016 and said she wanted to be part of rookie girl group Black Swan. However, Choi Eun Bin had already signed with Nextar Entertainment back in 2011. It turned out that she was a trainee at Nextar for 4 years, but transferred to GM Music as she found no hope at Nextar.

Then, following the label transition, Choi Eun Bin participated in Mnet's 'Produce 101', where she introduced herself as a Nextar trainee. However, GM Music was her actual supporter, and they claim that ever since she started receiving attention, she left the label with no notice, and is currently unreachable. As a result, GM Music decided to file a lawsuit because Choi Eun Bin showed no desire to return to Black Swan or the label.

Currently, netizens are in great shock following reports of this legal battle between GM Music and Choi Eun Bin.

I never knew the details so please do explain.

However, Choi Eun Bin had already signed with Nextar Entertainment back in 2011. We already knew she was apart of rookie girl duo BlackSwan. BlackSwan was a upcoming Nextar duo not GM Music. IDK what happened to Nextar BlackSwan but maybe GM Music now has rights to that.

Unless Nextar told EB to go to GM Music. I don't think she is this stupid to go to another company to debut in the same named group she was already planned for.

Why does she need someone else support when Nextar can actually support her enough to send her to that show. They didn't send only her to that show. If that was the case then I do agree with that statement. Even if they were the supporters and not Nextar. Why would she be listed as Nextar.

Tbh nobody could be that stupid. Same for her activities were pretty much under Nextar. GM Music should have noticed. I mean she has video's and stuff and was listed pretty much under Nextar. So I am not sure where their attention was lo.

I am just overall confused and trust like 20% of the whole situation.

Well then I guess most of the situation is true. But thank god Nextar is completely on her side and supporting her. Even they find some parts weird and hard to understand.

New photos and documents have been revealed regarding the fraud accusation case against Choi Eunbin, a former trainee of Mnet’s “Produce 101.â€

According to the documents, Choi Eunbin sent a certificate of content regarding the cancellation of her exclusive contract with her agency Nextar Entertainment this March. Choi Eunbin, who had signed an exclusive contract with Nextar Entertainment on March 2012, claimed through the document that the contract was invalid, citing reasons such as default of obligation, among others.

An affiliate of GM Music helped in sending the certificate. A screenshot of a conversation between the affiliate and Choi Eunbin on a mobile messenger service allegedly show that GM Music had sent the certificate under joint understanding by both sides and also show a discussion regarding her subsequent schedules, such as meeting with the stylist.

It seems that Choi Eunbin left Nextar Entertainment and decided to join GM Music’s girl group Black Swan. After confirming the contracting verbally, GM Music apparently supported Choi Eunbin’s appearance on Mnet’s audition program “Produce 101,†at her request.

Nextar Entertainment refuted the claims, saying that they, “still have an exclusive contract with Choi Eunbin†and “GM Music and Choi Eunbin did meet several times and talked but they never agreed on a verbal or written contract.†The agency went on to claim that Choi Eunbin’s appearance on “Produce 101″ was completely supported by Nextar Entertainment and that they are planning her debut and music release through Nextar Entertainment as well.

However, photos of Choi Eunbin hanging out in the recording rooms for GM Music is giving less credibility to Nextar Entertainment’s claims. Choi Eunbin allegedly was also seen getting on a GM Music vehicle at the filming set for “Produce 101.â€

Nextar Entertainment released an official statement concerning this issue saying, “The current reality of trainees is that they sometimes feel frustration from the long training periods and postponement of their debut. Choi Eunbin also likely felt tempted to work with another company because of the desire to debut as a singer as soon as possible.â€

The agency continued by saying that they heard the news of GM Music taking legal action against Choi Eunbin for breach of contract and fraud.  Although they are looking into it further, as it is very sudden news, Nextar Entertainment wasn’t sure what it meant for another company to take legal action regarding contracting when the trainee in question was under Nextar Entertainment.

Regarding the claims that GM Music supported Choi Eunbin’s appearance in “Produce 101,†the statement reads, “Before arguing the truth of this matter, there is a point that we just don’t understand practically. We would like to ask the public, although it definitely has legal consequences, is it morally possible for an external agency to propose to work with a trainee that is already exclusively signed with an agency?

Although this case is a personal lawsuit, as she is an individual who is signed exclusively under Nextar Entertainment, the company will do its best to offer legal support to Choi Eunbin for this case. However, we would like to make it known that Choi Eunbin, who is the core of this incident, is and has been signed with Nextar Entertainment from early 2012 until the present and that she has been working toward her dream to become a singer by participating in programs such as “Produce 101″ while under her contract with Nextar Entertainment.

We ask that you please protect Choi Eunbin’s dream to become a singer.â€

What do you think about this situation?

Something still seems really off (shady) about this whole thing. Like those pictures, not just of the KKT conversation, can easily be manipulated. KKT conversations are known to be easily manipulated. Also who in the hell is GM Music? I just got this feeling in my head that it almost seems like a get rich quick scheme.

I'm confident Nextar will win this though.

Tbh even I couldn't find Gm Music. So it's a really really small company that probs started last year.

It probs is a way to get rich fast.

Nextar seems strong enough to win this handsdown. So let's just hope for that and wait for the next news.
