Masta Wu recently sat down for an interview with a media outlet to discuss his time as a judge and mentor on the hip hop survival program 'Show Me The Money 3'. It was here that he revealed that he was pleasantly surprised by Bobby as he did not expect the iKON member to win the show!

During his interview with OSEN on the 9th, Masta Wu shared, "I've known Bobby since 3-4 years ago. I heard that 2 rappers entered the agency so I went to see them, and they were Bobby and B.I. To be honest, I didn't think Bobby would turn out well... Even if people gave him advice, there was no change [in him] because his individual color was really strong... But it turns out that was his biggest advantage and charm. He appeared on 'Show Me The Money 3' without the agency's help, and rose to the top to win the whole thing. He is an impressive friend. I didn't expect it at all."

Funny, because B.I was always talked about as being the most anticipated trainee. He always being compared to GD and was the most popular in the beginning. Now, I think Bobby is getting more attention..

No one did at first... the whole I'm anti-Rocksco thing helped blow him up and then he nailed his stages, especialy last few songs so it was hard not to root for him.

I think no one expected that ship to sink that fast... poor kids stages were a mess =/

I was all about Iron after his 1st big stage but towards the end it was all about him and Bobby.

Everyone was rooting for them let's be real. Vascos name carried him far but he never really created positive hype with his stages the way Bobby and Iron did.

Bobby wasn't the best rapper there maybe but he did have the best overall performances.

Olltii were consistent. Iron's semi-final performance still gives me the chills. GodBlo's thrist for Giriboy and Giriboy's lyrics in SMTM3 made me look his stuff up and turned me into a fan. Owen ovadoz (together with Olltii, screw the rules...) should have went through based of his flow and lyrics. His 1-on-1 with Olltii was more like a collaboration. DAMN!
