This Week's Artist:

Aimer

Aimer is a pop singer-songwriter signed to DefSTAR RECORDS. Her parents influenced her in music since she was a child, and she studied both guitar and piano. Around the age of 15, she had an incident due to the overuse of her voice. She reluctantly paused her music activities, and several years later her skillful singing voice had gained a husky quality to it. Her unique voice garnered a lot of buzz and praise from various artists and directors, and she was asked to provide guest vocals for several programs.

Aimer made her major debut in Septemer of 2011 with the single "Rokutosei no Yoru / Kanashimi wa Aurora ni / TWINKLE TWINKLE LITTLE STAR"

came to know of her this summer through zankyou no terror (dare ka, umi wo). in love with one of the b-sides for that release: hakuchuumu, musically, lyrically, everything. \o//

Her music is sooo good! There's so much magic and power in her voice.

I first heard of her when she sang for Gundam Unicorn. Damn she made those scenes magical. RE:I AM is my favorite track by her.

Are those her real pictures up top? I could've sworn she never showed her face because she wanted people to focus on her voice.
