I'm still not 100% sure about Idol x Idol but if it is cancelled its probably because of time conflict. Idol x Idol and Show Champion broadcasts within only 1 hour of each other. The only way thats going to work is if they film idol x idol at show champion (like in the waiting room or whatever)

I almost feel like Lina should be main vocalist with Sejin and Roeun should be lead vocalist with Eunsom.

I have yet to hear any outstanding vocals from Roeun. I want to be proven wrong about this. I'm waiting and waiting and it hasn't happened. She has a nice vocal color but I'm not sure if she should be main vocalist.

Lina on the other hand, I have heard her slay vocally. Going from what I have heard thus far Lina seems better than Roeun.

It's on iMBC and hosted by Tony An (former HOT member /Girl's Day Hyeri's bf and founder of Skoolooks). My guess is it'll have a full filming crew and a small studio to work with.

Yeah Linah's tiny. Roeun is even smaller. Linah has it bad because she always has to stand next to the giant maknae making her look even smaller.

Is SiYoung still upset? The stage presence is just not there. She's still looking pissed to even be performing.

Hey. I'm back to this thread. Since I was a hardcore Seoyoon fan I decided to stop supporting this group when Seoyoon left the group... BUT Roeun got me, she's such a cutie. I NEED HER.

This was a good performance even though it was cut.

I don't understand these outfits but their hair and makeup is perfect. I'm gonna need them to keep using that makeup artist and hair stylist.

I wonder if Roeun's high note was permanently handed over to Eunsom. I would like to hear Roeun try it live.

Minah's about the height of Hyeri, who's known for being petite among idols. Just found out she's 166cm (official). That's taller than many idols. I guess they are small in size, not height.

 

BTW, in that fancam around 0:39- :44 I heard someone speaking Mandarin Chinese like he's the staff... And the Zenith 88sec. also got Chinese on top corner.

 

Plus the fact Wanna.b had a predebut tour in China, I do wonder if, was this agency firm Chinese-invested??

Lina's official height is 161 so there is 5cm between Lina and Minah. Wow.

I get the feeling that Lina hates being short though lol. 

 

Zenith is an international company and they have headquarters in China, Japan, and Korea, is Korean owned though.

I'm still on the fence about Roeun. She supposed to be main vocal right? but she is literally so unstable. They give her a mic in the performance when she doesn't even do the high note.   I think she is super cute but to be called main vocal when she doesn't have the lines or the vocal ability. Maybe I just need  a different song from her. 

I said the same thing but I think its just bad nerves making her so unstable. When she isn't nervous she's fine.

 

^ I mean I'm still not super impressed by her vocals here either, not that its bad it just doesn't show much skill, but it does prove that she is capable of singing with stability when she's not nervous. I imagine she is holding back too. Thats why I would like the vocal line to do a cover. We have so many great dance covers, some vocal covers would be nice.

 

I also think that 'Waeyo' is a challenging song for all of the girls, even Sejin (Sejin's high note is bugging the hell out of me because its so shrill and strained. She won't use proper technique, no support from the diaphragm whatsoever. She going to have to go into her head voice on the last note.  I'm gonna need Sejin to unlock her inner Ariana Grande if she wants to be singing into the stratosphere like that). The melody of "Waeyo' is very basic but what makes it challenging for Wanna.B is the song is too high and they are being forced to sing cutesy. 'Waeyo' is incredibly high compared to 'My Type'. It would be perfect for a group like Lovelyz/Gfriend but most of the Wanna.B girls have deeper voices and even the ones with higher voices Sejin/Roeun/Eunsom have more of a womanly tone, not cute and girly. I hope next time their producer gives them a song that actually suits their voices because it seems like that was never taken into consideration.

Their performance at the beginning was so perfect (even though Siyoung is still not smiling). I loved all of their outfits and each outfit suited the personality of each member. I loved their hair and makeup too. Sejin and Linah's hair were so cute. Ami wearing tight jeans is love. My girl was showing off those curves. She needs a cardboard cutout and jeans endorsement too. Ami made me fangirl so much omgjflksjadkflj. I can't get over how pretty she is. Ami always reminded me of Yuri so I didn't understand the Seo comparisons but now I totally see it, its her eyes! I kept seeing Seo every time the camera showed Ami. They were saying Ami brought the show up to PG-15 with her sexy dance omgjakljfkls that's my girl. Jiwoo oppa nailed her dance as usual. Aww Eunsom doesn't think she's as talented as the others. Eunsom is cute and speaks very well she will book an MC job, know that. The girls keep talking about how manly they are lol. Tomboy concept next? I think 'girl crush' should stay as their thing. Roeun's haircut is really working wonders for her. She was cute before but now she really looks like an idol. I saw some comments saying Roeun looks like Hyemi. I don't see Hyemi at all but I do see Raina. She has that round face with big cheeks like Raina. Aww all the fans were asking if Siyoung was okay. I hope Siyoung knows how much Ru.B love her. Jiwoo she doesn't think she's cute. When she was on Join Us Korea everyone thought she was cute. She is better at masculine and sexy dances but that's a good thing. Not everyone can do that. Their diet song was so cute I'm screaming! Hmm they're restricted from dating.  I think Wanna.B have too many restrictions (diet and no social media, and no dating).

I used to hate her but now seeing Roeun live I think I like her xD she's good at singing... I feel like she can be a main vocal just the second. Like Tiffany from SNSD is the second main vocal. Roeun is not as good as Sejin but she can hold notes and that's good (:

Wheio wheio-Ami's voice is kind of annoying there and after Lina's part but it's stuck in my head lol.

You know what makes me angry??? That only now JIWOO BEAR got to rap/sing small lines after Siyoung but still her rap is at the end which means they cut her rap so often!!! It's cool to have two rappers and lots of rap in songs but geez. The best part is that Jiwoo is a better singer(saying because of her skill in My type) than Siyoung but she never gets to sing :<<<< i get that Siyoung's the leader but c'mon.
And Ami should get more head voice lines cuz daymmm she shound good ^.^

Yeah I agree Roeun is a good singer. She will shine once she shakes that nervousness. This is completely new to her. Linah has 6+ years of experience performing on stage so of course she slays. Roeun is the true newbie.
 
Ami and Linah have husky voices so they have to change their voice the most to fit the style of the song, that's probably why it sounds odd because its no where near their natural voices.
 
Yeah Jiwoo always has to sacrifice her lines. Jiwoo is the leader, not Siyoung. Siyoung is the center so that's probably why she gets so many lines.

Ami books. She got casted in a drama a few months after debut and now a reoccurring role as MC of a reality show with someone way more famous than her and it hasn't even been a full year since they debuted. Not bad for a nugu group. Hope Ami becomes the next it girl.

No matter where Ami goes people comment on how beautiful she is. There are plenty of idols more beautiful than her but she has some alluring quality that makes her extremely attractive, I can't put my finger on what it is though.

@Entropy: Ever since I discovered WANNA.B while watching Arirang's Join Us Korea quiz show, at first I liked - then soon grew to love Jiwoo, however, as time passed and I got curious to dig deep...deeper only to get affected with Wanna.B's nugu-ness {yes 'nugu'-ness, it's a word _{^{(not really)}}}. The figure that caught my eyes out of Wanna.B former OT6 line-up, was Ami. Still Ami is the one. Without a doubt she's beautiful, plus the inevitable fact that her beauty has proven itself that it may have no limits makes me swoon. When I say that she has everything covered; from looks to vocal, dancing skills and a killer physique, I ain't lyin'. I would love to see her become successful as time progresses. Being the It-Girl isn't all there is to fame, let's pray that she, as well as the others, never gets involved into scandals.

 

P.S. Still holding high hopes for the day when, perhaps, Ami will return on Instagram with the rest then notice me at some point in this lifetime.

Wanna.B's Linah talked some more about her relationship with her sister Girl's Day's Minah!

During an interview with Sports Chosun, Linah was asked if she ever felt overwhelmed by gaining attention as Minah's sister. She answered, "It would be a lie if I say I am not overwhelmed at all, but I am trying my best to not be a shame to Minah." Linah then revealed, "To be honest, Minah stopped me at first (from debuting in a girl group), because she knows how hard it is to go far. But after I debuted, she encouraged me by saying that she trusts me, and told me to work hard. It was very touching."

However, Linah also revealed that they often get in fights, and said, "We fight a lot over clothes. Minah calls me and cries whenever I take hers. I also do the same when she takes mine, and I keep calling her until she comes back home. Then Minah comes back crying, and eventually returns my clothes to me. She's actually nice. People often say we are like Deok Sun and Bora from 'Reply 1988'."

Fans are diverting their attention to an up and coming female idol who has finally made her debut as a singer.

Widely known as the older sister of Girl’s Day’s Minah, going under the stage name Linah, she recently made her debut under the already established girl group Wanna.B with the single Why.

 

Even with her red-orange colored hair, Linah and Minah’s resemblance can be picked out quite easily. Not only with their smiles but the “eye smile†is evident whenever they smile. The facial similarity is even more obvious in older photos of Linah with her original dark hair.

 

Though similar, each sisters are different in their own way as well with Linah protruding a mature aura while Minah takes on a more cute aura.
