They aren't going to chart.

I only checked the main ones. Didn't bother checking the others because even Brave Girls are barely hanging on at the bottom of those charts so of course Wanna.B is nowhere to be found.

I don't think any of Wanna.B songs have charted.

Based on MV views they're not doing too well either.

Brave Girls were able to generate nearly 100,000 views in 1 day.

It hasn't yet been 24 hours since the release of 'Why' but they won't even reach 50,000 by then.

 

Its not Wanna.B's time to slay the charts, they need more fans and recognition before that can happen.

I think they'll receive more attention when they start live performances.

edit. I love this kind of choreography. Not too busy, and seems to go well with the story. Quik ovesrvations: The guy waking up in the surgery room is like a newborn chick seeing mom. The old guy is either the current or the last President of Korea's singers association. I just saw him on Running Man last week (and on many other variety shows before). His famous line: "That was fun enough; I'm first off work (waving goodbye)"   I was expecting this for the ending...

Can the Ru.B Moomoo's go collect their asses?

 

They should be last ones talking about plagiarism and being copycats when Mamamoo have been on the receiving end of a slew of plagiarism accusations and things.

I bet their petty asses don't realize that Wanna.B and Mamamoo have the same director.

Omg director plagiarized his own work therefore Wanna.B are copycats for using the same sets even though kpop reuses sets all the time.

I mean technically you can plagiarize your own work but damn is it that big of a deal in the sea of actual plagiarism that happens constantly in kpop?

The guy who looked at Ami, who I should state as the "male lead actor" in Wanna.B's 'Why?' MV, is also a familiar figure. In fact, if my memory serves me right, I remember seeing him in one of WANNA.B's online broadcasts.

 

@ OP: You know, ever since Mamamoo stepped their right feet into stardom, though it is still in its early stages, they kind of did not need to look back, and guess why's that? It's because of Mamamoo's fanbase, MooMoo, stuck together to form this impenetrable defense for those four women that even JRE couldn't resist falling in love with Mamamoo not long after their name began to spread at a significant rate.

 

What I'm trying to indicate is, that it wouldn't be wise to pick a fight with such a growing yet incredibly dedicated fan-army; especially as we are the ones that are nowhere close to be of their level in terms of all aspects. Let them say whatever they feels like saying 'cause after all, whether we are just I-RUs connecting with each other, showing & sharing our love, affection & passion towards respectible girl groups through the internet, I don't believe either of us wants to have our names, RU.B - (Entropy & RU.B_ELVIS, for example), be seen under bad light to the people around and of course, let's always be cautious as you never know when K-entertainment officials; perhaps oftentimes, if not always, decides to spy from within this mini fandom of ours on us.

Umm...I'm not picking a fight I'm simply stating facts. Btw I thought I made it clear that I was talking specifically about the Moomoos who are being rude in the comments of Wanna.B's MV. Why would I be saying that about the entire fandom when there's only a dozen or so in the comments so who are being rude?

 

If I see something that's wrong or ugly I'm going to speak my mind about it and that goes for anything. If people think I'm picking a fight by doing that well I'm sorry they feel that way.Also lets not forget I'm not the one who started this. Don't put the blame onto me. If they didn't come trolling the comments I wouldn't have anything to say about it. Period.

 

Now if I went to MMM's thread or video talking reckless like those moomoo's did on Wanna.B's video that's a different story.

I'm sure they didn't like when MMM was accused of plagiarism so why do that to another group, and a nugu group at that?

All I said and meant is that what other fandom speaks of about Wanna.B should not darken our hearts & souls in sorrow or agony.

You were devastated by the lone fact that the I-MooMoo(s) were and are bashing WANNA.B's 'Why?' MV off plagiarism.

I don't blame you for that. It's understandable, plus a human nature to feel such an emotion.

First of all, I'm perfectly calm. Devastated would be the feeling I have if someone in my family died or something not Wanna.B

This is the Wanna.B thread so I'm talking about things that are related to Wanna.B so I chimed in on the messy comments in their Youtube comments.

I had 'Why?' stuck in my head all day yesterday. I think this song might actually do better than 'Hands Up now'. 

I hope Sejin doesn't lipsync her high note tomorrow. It would impress me if she is able to pull it off because Its like a high note on top of an even higher note. Also can't wait to see their variety of outfits for performances. They only had like 5 outfits for 'Hands up' so hopefully they'll have more than that. Kinda hoping they will retire the blue flight attendant one since they've already used it too much. I want the all white outfits or the doctor outfit without the coat.

So I've always been a casual listener of WANNA.B. Didn't really like their last single too much but this one has me hooked!

 

So who is MOXIE and why is @Entropy so worried about them?

 

WANNA.B is being accused of plagiarism? How?

 

I was kind of disappointed not seeing WANNA.B perform on Show Champion yesterday but it seems they'll be performing on Music Core? Their company needs to start adding them on more music shows. Especially ones with higher viewership like Inkigayo. Even if it means a cut-up version of the song. 

Moxie is a group composed of Wanna.B predebut members J.Bin and Saebom. You can see them in Wanna.B's 'My Type' MV.

I'm not worried I just wasn't expecting it to happen. I'm actually excited and I wonder if we'll get some interactions (well only Jiwoo knows them because she is the only current member from that first lineup).

 

Their company usually manages to get them on a few music shows every week. Not all of them but usually at least 3. Wanna.B have performed on Show Champion and The Show the most so I'm sure they'll be on those 2 every week from now on.

 

Yeah they're getting accused of plagiarism. Going over my posts I did kinda overreact about it lol. All groups on the rise go through this crap. Fandom culture can be so crazy. Even Brave Girls got accused of plagiarizing AOA for wearing cheerleader outfits

Actually this could turn out to be a good thing because more people are watching their MV and noticing them.

People are complaining that WANNA.B used the same set as MAMAMOO......after we've seen time and time how several nugus use the same sets for their M/V to the point where even articles are made but somehow, paying to use the same set as MAMAMOO is sparking outrage? 

 

I don't know whether to laugh or feel disappointed at these fans who are trying to bash WANNA.B 

Just laugh as Wanna.B rack up views. Already the views are accumulating faster than 'Hands Up'.
'Why?' will be at 100,000 views in no time.which is half the amount of the views 'Hands Up' was able to get in 7 months

Btw why are people saying Linah only has 1 line in Why?

She has more lines than half of the other members.

Linah has like 3 or 4 lines (a section of the verse and half of the hook every time it repeats and possibly another part of the verse @0:59 I can't tell who sings that but its either Linah or Roeun)

Wanna.B Open Up About Coming Back With A Same Song Title As Taeyeon

 

 

Wanna.B recently returned with a new single entitled 'Why' and had an interview, where they talked about promoting at the same time as Taeyeon with the same song title.

Ami said, "When we first found out about Taeyeon's song title, we were so taken aback. The word 'Why?' really came out like in our title song.  However, it is such an honor to even be able to come back the same day as a senior whom we've always respected so much.  I personally like the song 'I' so much.  Thanks to her refreshing voice and hopeful lyrics, it's a song that I can listen to happily.  She's an artist with an exclusive charm."

Eunsom added, "I heard that Wonder Girls, whom I've watched over since I was young, is making a comeback.  It's an honor that we get to stand on the same stage.  I'm also happy that we get to be with eminent girl groups.  We will work hard with a fun rather than competitive attitude."

tbh all they need is not getting their performance cut on their comeback stage,bc I've seen some nugu groups like Mr.Mr getting their performance cut on their comeback stages,its just sad (granted the show was Mubank and the big guns are performing that day but its still sad to see )

I don't think they're getting cut this time. There's actually a lot of nugus and not as many big names performing on today's Music Core

 

I wonder if they'll get a Stage Set since tomorrow will be their first comeback performance.

and theres this weirdass air like sound like a broken confetti machine that kept happening throughout the performance

 

idk if its just me but Siyoung seems upset and the girls doesnt dance as well as in the MV,its really messy for some reason

I'm watching it now and they look SUPER nervous especially Siyoung and Roeun.

Roeun was very unstable as a main vocalist, Eunsom had to sing her line in the bridge (and it wasn't good) and she even hit her own mic on accident.

And Siyoung...I don't know what was going on with her. I'm super concerned. Like what was that?

They have never been like this.Go compare this to their 'Hands Up' and 'Attention' performances.

Sejin was the only one delivering and Jiwoo, Ami, and Lina did okay.

I can understand why Roeun was nervous because its her debut performance on a music show but it seemed like more than just nerves. I think something happened that they're down about.

When the performance ended you can see that Siyoung is the first to get up. What if she cried guys?

The first-ever performance of 'Why?' for Wanna.B should be forgotten by RU.Bs, as well as everyone in general. Like, this instant!

 

It was painful to watch WANNA.B perform.

Besides the fact that the girls didn't wear the pink chef/waitress stage outfits and wore the blue, ^_hideous flight attendant ones instead.

 

 

Why has no one taken note of an important indication; which is, that Siyoung & Roeun were the members who seemed off the most.

 

Meaning, something undoubtedly occurred in the time span of when that picture was posted on Twitter/Facebook + Instagram and the Music Core performance between Siyoung & Roeun - like a conflict between the two, or Siyoung + Roeun vs. Zenith's staff who are in charge of the girls' 'getup' department.

 

Because, you see... Nervous isn't the proper word to describe the expression Siyoung had planted upon her face from start to finish of the performance, she had worn a facial feature that indicated how she was "100% done with the mess" that must have stirred before taking the stage.

 

Meanwhile, as for Roeun... *sigh* She, well..... she didn't seem nervous either, not in my eyes. If anything, she seemed sad. Very sad. Her effort to keep the sadness locked within during performing is praiseworthy. Roeun's mind was seemingly elsewhere straight off the bat, causing her to make that accidental mistake while doing a singular hand (right) gesture that bumped midway against the other hand (left) which held the mic, plus she was about to sing her part at that exact moment as well. Talk about being absentminded.

 

Hope nothing serious escalates among OT7, that's all I pray for.

 

Props to Sejin for being the lone warrior on the stage whom managed to fully deliver alongside Jiwoo, Ami, Eunsom & Linah, who did alright.

 

I really don't think it had anything to do with the outfits. That's like a minor issue. Maybe the chef outfits didn't look right onstage or wardrobe malfunction

.

I just think Roeun was nervous and Siyoung was sad or possibly even sick, it was written all over her face. Plus she didn't look very happy in the fantaken photos either and that was before they even entered Music Core.

 

 

 

I hope Siyoung get well soon, the group seems a bit lost when she's not 100%

 

Yup that's because Siyoung is the center so if she off so is everyone else.

Don't tell me that Siyoung was missing from Wanna.B Commuting because I couldn't spot her even in the blurred backgrounds of these images. First I had thought Ami was absent too in the beginning but then saw that she is in one photo with Linah, clearly at that.

That was from the 30th. Siyoung wasn't missing she just didn't get captured in any pictures. They're commuting so there's only so many pictures they could capture before Wanna.B left. Moonpictures is also a newer Wanna.B fansite and Lina and Roeun biased so...

 

IDOL X IDOL is a V App show that promotes mainly rookies and lesser known groups.
