The "Sassy 01" part written on Jiwoo's jersey that she was wearing at the end has caused me to come up with a nickname for her and it is, Sass Mistress, Jihye Choi!

 

I know it sounds lame but oh well.....

 

It took me a while, however, Siyoung has piqued my interest with her occasional cuteness as well as the sexy characteristics she seem to bear within herself. Both inside and out, actually.

 

*cough* I suppose the make-up style she does comes into play for the attraction I have started to have towards her. *cough*

 

Don't... I mean, DO NOT, ever get the idea that I'm leaving Ami behind for another girl because I ain't. After all, she's my ideal type.

 

Although I was undoubtedly excited to witness a bad Ami in action, I couldn't help myself except laugh pretty much watching all the way through!

 

It was basically a Vocalist vs. Rapper showdown in a skit form, or the tallest versus the shortest member of WANNA.B (hope I'm not wrong about their height), with Jiwoo starring as Jeong Jiyeon's mentor.

 

Seeing that someone has found similarities between Wanna.B & Brave Girls is a relief. They are possibly the only two girl groups with the concept named muscle idols, A.K.A "muscle-dols".

 

Speaking of WANNA.B's chances of having opportunities to stand out, any news on when or whether they will be making a comeback within the year?

 

The majority of the mid-tier female idol groups have already, CLC being next in the line-up of comebacks among the rookies that debuted around the same time as Wanna.B did. If I have correctly recalled.

No you're right, Ami is the tallest at 168cm (or 169cm according to some profiles), and Siyoung is tied with Seoyoon as the shortest at 162cm (or 164cm according to some profiles). Seoyoon just seems taller than Siyoung because she's slimmer. Without Seoyoon there to balance things out it makes Siyoung look so short compared to the others.

 

No news on when Wanna.B will be making a comeback. Well not that I know of. I don't really watch the Afreeca TV broadcasts, I don't know if it might have been mentioned on there but I doubt it.  I can't see them not having at least one comeback this year. Wanna.B is Zenith's most successful group afterall.

Have I mentioned how much I appreciate the effort Zenith has put in to create such goddess-like images for the girls individually during both "Attention" & "Hands Up"? In quite a few versions each time, too!

She replied on IG. She hasn't posted on the fancafe in a really long time.

 

I'm hoping Wanna.B can have more photoshoots. Preferably pictorials for websites and magazines like Ceci, BNT, Maxim, Esquire, Nylon, Arena) and food and cosmetic endorsements/commercials. These girls have such great visuals and they're being wasted right now.

They were probably both trainees together. Sejin used to be in Happy Face Entertainment, Dal Shabet, Minx, and 4MEN's company.

I think she was supposed to debut in Dal Shabet but guess she ended up not making the group. She did end up backup dancing for 4MEN and Dal Shabet though. I wonder when she left Happy Face because if she had stayed long enough maybe she could have ended up being Vicky's replacement. Or maybe she did and Woohee was chosen over her. Who knows.

While going through the thread from page 1, I happen to have come across... this conversation. Not sure what to feel about the "rape" part, though if I were to then it would be nothing but shady thoughts.

Its not really relevant to Wanna.B though. All 96 liners from ZEST are no longer in the group and were replaced with new members.

The alleged victim is not a former or current member of Wanna.B. Most likely the rumor is implying she's from Zenith's failed group

and this happened after that group was already disbanded according to the rumor. S.O.S only had one 91 liner member so that's points directly to who it is.

 

So basically that scandal has nothing to do with Wanna.B.

Yas girls! Busy doing live broadcasts! I like it! I hope they have another comeback soon! Hopefully with a mini album or something. Need more songs! 

Yeah I'm happy they do live broadcasts and their Wanna.B TV show on Naver.

I wish they would do more festivals that other groups are attending. Live broadcasts are cool but its mainly fans watching it, and a few people who stumble onto the channel by accident. They're maintaining their current fanbase and that's good but they also have to bring in new fans. I hope they actually got a decent amount of screen time on Dream Team because that would do them a lot of good.

 

I'm hoping for a comeback too but I doubt it will be any time soon. Zest recently got 2 new members so its looking like they will have a comeback next funded by Wanna.B.

Their schedule is usually updated 2 times a month. Its still early on in the month so aside from the Wanna.B TV stuff (which is regular), the schedule is empty until they get more bookings. Sometimes the fancafe admin just doesn't know they will have an event until a week or sometimes days in advanced. But lets be realistic here, their schedule just isn't going to be packed, especially not in between promotions.

 

Well I've openly stated who my bias is several times in this thread. No guessing needed.

As for S.O.S, I have got a lot to say which I probably shouldn't let my mind to do so, not because it's been a while since the incident occurred, but also due to the fact that the female idol band is no more. However, the statement I will make... No, more like, the question I will ask:

 

The girl who "claimed" to be, or is the victim, is she the one who acted as the female lead in the MV?

 

If she is, then..... Well, how do I put it... All of them didn't seem like they were meant to belong in the industry right off the bat. The so-called overused set, the straightforward controversial story within the music video, etc.

 

Everything gives off a bad vibe.

 

Furthermore, the comments section on S.O.S' MV are giving me the impression that the nationality of the feminine figure who fell victim to the alleged rape was a Filipino, which would make perfect sense for such a scandalous event. I AIN'T A RACIST.

 

I'm truly happy that it was no one from WANNA.B.

I don't know. I'm not a fan of Zest nor do I know their members but I don't think the whole group should be held accountable for the actions of one psychopath. Sad that the group is only known for a rape scandal. It is just a rumor after all. It was never confirmed to be true.

 

I'm not sure which member it is. I'm not familiar with this group at all and I didn't even know they existed until I found out about the scandal, I just know that the 91 liner's name is Sun and she is Indonesian. I don't know when or where she appears in the MV. I don't get what race has anything to do with this though.

 

But anyway this subject matter has diverged too far off topic and its going into problematic territory so I won't be discussing it further.

From what I gather in the picture is a poem from Ami's unnie, and Ami basically say that even from when they were young her unnie was a good writer, and she says the picture is adorable and thanked her unnie for good memories.

Although I hoped it would have photos that I have yet to see, which it probably does somewhere, however, except for the section of Instagram posts (my fan!acc. is shown too...like, what-), I haven't found the section where you mentioned the website having a lot Wanna.B HQ photographs.

 

I recall you telling me about that Insta ID but unfortunately, I won't be asking the person to do the translation for me.

 

Because as soon as I will @ 'em, they'll appear on the image I may tag them in and the thing, which is the worst part of it all, is that they will translate the very caption in the comments rather than putting effort by doing the translation anywhere else so the "original poster", in this case it's Jiwoo, would not have to deal with spam.

 

Also, I think s/he no longer does translating for K-girl groups.

 

The tumblr has been inactive for a while it seems, almost as dead as a graveyard.

It might be worth a try but its up to you. The last time it was updated was only a few weeks ago, by no means a graveyard. Its very common for blogs to have a periods of inactivity. It takes a lot of work to not only translate but also run a blog so I really appreciate the work they do and I hope they can continue.

Wanna.B performed at the Korea International College Of Arts yesterday (160309). I'm not seeing any fancams though. I didn't even know about it because it wasn't on the schedule.

I'm trying to figure out when Wanna.B's episode of Dream Team airs.

I didn't see them just from skimming the recent episode. I think its an all men episode. Maybe the next episode????

 

Also this is the second consecutive week Wanna.B TV Naver didn't air so maybe the series is over.

I prefer the Naver one over the AfreecaTV personally.

 

I think Wanna.B is preparing something. Probably not a comeback though. Maybe just practicing as OT6 since its been a while.
