Wanna.B barely has any schedule.....

 

Leaving that aside, I am truly happy about something, which is, that they are appreciated enough to get invited to an event such as the Awards Ceremony Honoring Disabled Olympic Athletes (ACHDOA). CLC used to do busking events with kids who had disabilities in their pre-debut days, and they held such event even after having debuted.

 

Due to personal reasons, seeing them attend touched me, not to mention that this particular act has solidified their spot forever in my heart.

 

P.S. When I took the first glance at the thumbnail of that video clip, I honestly thought Ami was holding someone's hand behind Siyoung and Eunsom so I watched it and got fooled as she seemed to be walking by with a possible-Zenith staff/manager.

The schedule I posted is just their schedule for the last few days of January because the fancafe admin hasn't posted their February schedule yet. I only know about the Wanna.B TV stuff. Plus Wanna.B are in between promotions and of course are a nugu group so you can't expect much at this point. I also imagine they don't want to do anything major while they're still down a member.

 

Honoring Disabled Olympic Athletes (ACHDOA) is not actually the name of that event. I failed to translate it properly lol.

 

I guess that guy is a member of the staff. It wasn't Wanna.B's manager though. Their manager is taller and skinny.

 

 

|★| That moment when you realize that a cutesy concept girl group like MINX attended the Idol Star Athletics Championships but a kick-ass kind such as Wanna.B didn't. Talk about unfairness!

Minx is more established than Wanna.B and more people know about their company. They're always going to go for the groups who have the most fans because that means more viewers.

 

The only way Wanna.B  can get on ISAC is if

1. They get more famous (having a song that actually charts would be a start)

2. Have really good connections with the PD and MBC.

3. A lot of more popular groups won't attend

 

As of yet none of those things have happened.

That's okay though, they're doing their best. Hopefully their company will invest in a good producer so they can have a hit song. They have so much potential. They were doing really well considering they're at a disadvantage compared to some other rookies. 'Attention' was pretty successful, but 'Hands Up' did nothing to increase their popularity. I think it was too similar to 'Attention' and the concept was too familiar and Ami expressed that in an interview (except not as harshly). That's why I love these girls. They keep it real. Wanna.B is a smart, talented, and seasoned group and they have good taste.Their company should take some input from them.

I'm hoping Wanna.B gets a Spring or Summer comeback with a good song.

Amiga was so funny here. Her  high notes really suck though, and they didn't even make it that far lol.

Ami's lowest note is really good though. Deepest voice in the group and I think she can go lower than she showed. Jiwoo also has a deep voice but I don't know who is deepest between Ami & Jiwoo.

Eunsom proved me wrong. She does have the highest voice in Wanna.B She can not only hit higher notes than Sejin, but also lower. I still think Sejin is a better singer because while Eunsom has more range, her overall technique is not as good.

Not sure what that last game was.

This was a good episode but it would've been so much better with Seoyoon. Please recover quickly Seoyoonie

If I had to rank the members from funniest to least funny it would be

Sejin > Seoyoon > Siyoung > Ami > Eunsom > Jiwoo

Missing Seoyoon's humor so much.

I can easily see Siyoung being a host (Eunsom too), so hopefully in the future Wanna.B will be popular enough to get these girls some opportunities.

 

I lacked interest while watching the episode. It was pretty boring up until the very last game where I, obviously, cheered for Ami! 

My God, she sure went all-out on that one, I was praying that no harm would she do to neither Siyoung's nor Eunsom's small legs, hers are unbelievably strong (which I love, them mouth-watering... I mean, mesmerizing thighs). No wonder she's such an epic dancer.

 

In case you haven't noticed, Seoyoon updated her IG twice yet again, however, I'm not certain of whether the selfie was taken recently or not.

 

Who is "Amiga", by the way?

 

The humorist within the group is definitely Sejin. This girl has done aegyo even without trying, I believe; it is especially seen in the 3-hour SSUNI event video.

Don't forget that Ami also can run really fast (40m in 5.11 seconds). That's pretty fast for someone not really trained.

 

Amiga is Ami. I'm not sure if the 가 is some type suffix or if its a nickname but sometimes you will see her name spelled and said as 아미가. Maybe someone who knows Korean better can explain. Even the members often call her Amiga and I think she has also referred to herself as Amiga.

 

Seoyoon's recently uploaded picture on IG is also old. Its from 'Attention' promotions. Her condition is still not good enough to take pretty selcas.

^ This was such a good episode. Ami is such a sexy dancer. LOL Eunsom wouldn't dance and dance line made fun of Siyoung for dancing. Jiwoo is a powerful dancer and omg her choreography is so good. I hope JIwoo always choreographs for Wanna.B.

Siyoung is such an interesting one. Is she more cute, sexy, or tomboy? Jiwoo goes from tomboy to sexy and back to tomboy. Wanna.B is so fun. I wish more people were into them.

The puzzle-turned-photos are undoubtedly from Moonlight, no one can deny. Sejin following Moonlight on the same day as the received gifts is a sign of it, too.

 

I don't have a clue what they said in their 200 days celebration video, thus I hate this language-barrier thing which we i-fans face all that much more.

Congrats on your new bias. Ami is really amazing.

Its at SSUNI, a dessert cafe that Wanna.B have endorsed, also endorsed by Stellar last year. It looks bad that they're performing in a cafe but its okay as long as SSUNI are paying them their wons.

 

I don't know how common it is for girl groups to accept this kind of work but EXID also did the same thing for a different cafe. That was before they got popular though.

I saw a korean fan say that Seoyoon injured not sick. I don't know what's the truth but I miss her. Wanna.B doesn't feel the same without her.

Every time there is a new video the first thing I do is look for Seoyoonie. I'm really hoping she can rejoin Wanna.B this month.

 They're not incredibly fast with updates since they also translate for several other girl groups but its nice that they contribute to the Wanna.B fandom. I hope more stuff like this pops up.

 

As far as a subbing team, Wanna.B still aren't anywhere near famous enough. It took groups like EXID, 9Muses, and Spica years to get a subbing team while groups from SM, YG, etc have subbing teams even during predebut. I think its possible a good samaritan will sub Lets Go Dream Team since its a popular show. This will be the first time Wanna.B as a whole (or Wanna.B sans Seoyoon) appears on a popular variety show.

Let's Go Dream Team, I have seen the name of the variety show throughout the internet before but it never piqued my interest in the slightest, nor do I know anything about it.

 

As for the subbing part, until the time comes when Zenith decides to hire a crew to do subs, the i-fans will have to contribute to WANNA.B's fandom/community, that is the only option.

That's very fair line distribution but in reality you know it wouldn't be like that.
I especially like how the rap is split up between Jiwoo & Siyoung. I like that dual rappers thing. It has a lot of impact. Its kinda what Nine Muses used to do when Sam and Eunji were in the group. 

Funny how someone made this video being that both Brave Girls and Wanna.B are known as muscle-dols. Very clever uploader.

I think Wanna.B is much more muscular than Brave Girls but Brave Girls actually executed the muscle-dol concept better. Sad that Zenith didn't seize the opportunity to make Wanna.B really stand out for that. Oh well at least Brave Entertainment are doing it right.
