Q for religious people: What do you think of the LGBT community?

i'm ok with them as long as they don't put their "artistic" instalations across the church and on the square, which name is a straight reference to the religion

because something like this has a place in my country now

idk why they can't just move it somewhere, do they want to provoke some argument or what

btw that instalation was already buried few times

I tolerate them and accept them as human beings but not the things the say. I'm nicer than most conservative Christians because I empathise their suffering bc I'm surrounded by people thinking I'm gay.

I have LGBT friends but I keep my distance bc a lot of my McBride friends have a bad influence on me, like swearing, drinking till you drop, I tend to forget my morals and ideals around them. That's why I keep my distance.

Most of the time, I am indifferent and try my best to mind my own business regarding that topic. My only real problem with it is when lesbians/lesbian couples impregnate themselves through a sperm bank (or some other biologically unnatural way) and give birth to children. I really HATE that. Really really despite when they do that so freaking much. But my despise for it does not make me act irrational or make me want to force my opinions on them or anything. I'm a peaceful, religious kitty. * purring softly *

i'm a christian and even i realize that christians are some of the biggest hypocrites when it comes to to discussing lgbt

"oh it's fine..i'm a Christian and i love you unconditionally like christ said i should do. but you're wrong and i don't accept you. i know better than you because a really old book written by some guys we don't know talk about homosexuality like it's a choice. but i love you! but you're going to hell. i love you though!"

christians, please do the rest of us a favor and stfu with that 'love' BS. no one believes you. you guys can talk a big game but for the vast majority of you, it's all about the hate.

For me: Sinner ≠ sin. They aren't defined for that one choice. Love the sinner, but not the sin.

...And that all sin is sin, not different levels of sin etc.

My church/some friends from church are really intolerant. I really don't like that.

*i don't understand negs tbh.

Sin as per defined in the bible. Lying, judging, drinking in excess, getting tattooed, etc... Still all sin. (not saying that i don't sin, because i definitely do too) But i know i've been talking about this to Christian friends specifically so it may be a "wrong" view, i dunno.

I don't really follow your train of thought. I sense two different opinions, and i just wanted to delineate and understand them.

1. You seem to be against all "artificial" forms of reproductive methods, e.g. IVF. Other than him plugging his rocket in her socket... Do couples that are less able to get pregnant in natural ways not have the right to children too, by your logic?

2. Are gay couples having children okay by you? Why are you specifically targeting lesbian couples? Gay couples like Neil Patrick Harris and partner get eggs, and surrogate mother (e.g. Neil Patrick Harris & his partner). Is that okay by you?

IMO just because one is LGBT doesn't take away the right for them to be parents

And your opinions are slightly conflicting ><

I know some don't accept or respect it, and some tolerate but do not accept. But is there any religious person who does accept them?

I know of Atheists that don't... a few believing that killing them would cure the world.
