Can Capcom be trusted?

They got greedy and did that shady shit with Street Fighter x Tekken. They made people buy the game with like 16 characters, and then charged them another $20 for 12 extra characters. If you bought the game new you spent like $75 on it, not to mention if you bought gems too, which are a face.

Let's not forget to mention the re-releasing of games in "super" or "ultimate" form.

Will people trust Capcom with another fighting series?

i stopped buying their fighting games tbh their 1st street fighter game for ps3 was good at first, but after that i got sick of the one-dimension styling. plus their moves are too fucking difficult to perform.  :soul:

I never got into Mega Man. I basically made this thread for other input on games as well. It seems like capcom loves to get shady with their DLC. $5 for a character is bad too. It just seems like that's not cool.

On top of that the 12 characters were already on the disc.

Pay-to-Play is here to stay. Deal with it.

It's Zynga's fault. LOL. That Farmville shit started it all.

I remember the old times where you could survive without paying for anything, except the game itself of course. Now everything has to be pay to play to fully enjoy it.

Yeah.

P2P has its pros and cons. It's cheaper for the gaming company to just update through patches. For the consumer, for a small fee, they feel that they have an advantage over other players.

The problem with what CAPCOM is doing is that they already charge way too much for the game itself. On top of that, they are charging a lot for the extra characters. It also doesn't help when it is for a game that doesn't change no matter how many patches you give it, unlike MMORPGs and such.

disgusting right, putting out optional DLC that people have a choice on whether to buy or not

The only thing that annoys me is on-disc DLC or preplanned DLC. If it's already on the disc then just put it in the damn game. Or if you already know you want a feature/extra in it, why the hell are you withholding it from the game in the first place.
