Not just because members said so some time ago, but I never see anyone mention Sungkyu, really.And if it's allowerd sideways, I'm all for 6th! Sunggyu used to be the least popular when they debuted but nowadays he's roughly top three in popularity overseas and top two in Korea. Koreans will argue that Sunggyu is the most popular in Korea with the public while Myungsoo is most popular with the fans and Sunggyu coming after him.I dont usually care much for this kind of thing but as of last year there has been a noticeable, to me anyway, disparity between the recognition of the members with Sunggyu, Myungsoo, and Woohyun leading and the rest following. Sunggyu in particular experienced a boost after his stunt on The Genius. Its kind of difficult to ignore now. I somewhy always though he was good in ...well , you get the idea..... I also often see Sungkyu as the dominant one and it's usually Woohyun who shies away first and look all flustered ( in those rare moments when Sungkyu is all shy it's adorable), but it's obv Woohyun is the pleasing one and Sungkyu is the gf who's all moody ,playing hard to get and all and he has to fuss over her and keep her happy. I think Sungkyu is the 'dominate' one. Woohyun is the more emotional one of the two. Sungkyu is always more logical and slightly distant but Woohyun (the cute lil bf he is) knows how to cheer up his leader in a snap. Woohyun is a great support to Sungkyu as a Jr. Leader (mood maker). What you see as a 'moody gf' I see as an 'annoyed bf'. Woohyun can be so stupid and get on his nerves but in the same sense Woohyun knows exactly how to make him laugh even when he doesn't want to. Of the two it seems like Woohyun gets jealous over Sungkyu more than Sungkyu gets jealous of Woohyun despite what is common in fanfics... like how Woohyun would stay up at night for Sungkyu to get home so that they could sleep together. What that lil clip from HC didn't mention was that Sungkyu said that Woohyun is very needy and will always wait up for him and once he came home really late without telling Namu and he was really upset. Or how Woohyun is always laying his claim on Sungkyu publicly with his confessions and saying how Sungkyu needs him. He is the jealous one. Either way, I'm not really fond of the idea of a heterosexual mindset if you are looking at a homosexual relationship. There is no 'boy' and 'girl'. They are both boys and they both are strong and emotional. It's never black and white even in heterosexual relationships. ^^;; Random personal tangent: Like with my last boyfriend. If people looked at us it was probably hard to decide if I was a dominate or needy girlfriend. I honestly don't know what I was either. He was a lot more logical than I am so in that sense he was the dominate one but I was more grounded than he was in the sense of the big picture so I was the dominate there. He was emotional and I was SUPER emotional. Even now I wouldn't know how to pick a 'dominate' and 'submissive' in our relationship. Just wanted to respond. xD A while ago I've read some article about Kara members schedules and it turned out that they are never resting, even when they don't have to promote new music releases. Be it vocal and language lessons or other stuff, they always have stuff to do. This reminded me about Sunggyu- how it's said that he's lazy and doesn't do anything these days. I came to the conclusion that as a leader (somehow responsible for Infinite) he must work even more then other members and this 'grandpa' image doesn't really suit him at all in my eyes. All in all I think most idols are generally extremely hardworking and Sunggyu, a head of very popular and busy group, doesn't really have time or a chance to laze around in most cases. So when I hear his nickname I can't help but cringe and think, that in reality, he's probably the opposite of grandpa and always on the go. I know that people may use it affectionately but I don't really like that particular nickname anymore.
