What do you think of his English?

I think the way the English sounds fits the style of the song. I guess what I mean by that is even with the way some things sounded to me, I liked it because it just worked with the feel.

(It's late and I feel like I'm bad at explaining this!)

I could understand him enough that I decided to flip the tab away so I had no captions to see if I could still understand him the same, and I did. So I figure that's also good~

Yoohei has always had decent to strong English because it's always understandable and his pronunciation isn't too bad or difficult to understand. Mog makes a great point! It's well suited and fits in nicely with the record and nothing feels out of place. Have you finally gotten around to listening to Me No Do Karate??? Champagne seems to have won you over. Saw you mention their interview in the Azealia Banks thread. Ha!

He has good pronunciation and sounds like he is fluent whether he actually is or not idk. With Taka you can tell he's not fluent but just good at pronouncing words. And although Noda is fluent, his voice makes it difficult to understand some parts.

I still don't like them that much.

Ughh, the Azealia thread. I just found it coincidental that Glastonbury is called a nothing festival but a random Japanese band's ultimate dream is to play it.

The Music Station performance actually inspired me to relisten to the album.

Apparently he and the bass player are fluent. They grew up in Syria and the US respectively. I'm guessing Yoohei the singer went to an international school in Syria and that's where he learned English.
