I loved the instrumental and I totally approve of the letter C since my mother and my name's both start with C. hehe You may think I'm totally silly but I wanted to bring it up just in case you notice and get the wrong idea. I switched out my Nell awards momentarily. I was only 2 awards away from finishing getting all of Infinite and Lovelyz and just couldn't wait. Now that I have them I'll be getting back my Nell awards back. It's stupid but my award loyalty is to Woollim first and its not like my awards change the fact that I love and support Nell. I just didn't want you to see it and think I've abandoning them just because they left Woollim. Hello, welcome back~! The members have been teasing us and then they disappear from social media again XD I think that they will release the songs next month during their concert period. I've been working with a Korean tutor to make sure my spoken Korean is up to par. She said that she has seen Nell several times since they play at local rock clubs and she will check if they are playing during the time I'm there. I will cry if she says they are. Indeed. Nell is in the blood. According to the interpark website, it is from the 6th of May to the 15th of May. I read from here: "The upcoming concert will be a great chance for you to have a sneak peek into our new album music style.†They'll probably reveal something during the concert. Lovelyz will be doing their promotions since their new mini album comes out on the 27th~ waahhhhh I'm so blissful~ And I get to hand deliver Sungkyu's birthday present the day after his birthday. I can't give a real in-depth fan account since I admittedly felt pretty lost throughout the whole thing. A couple random things I can say is, for starters, IT WAS FREAKING AMAZING!!! It was so different from any kpop concert I've ever been to. I know NELL isn't kpop so I don't know if thats why it was so different or if its because of the style of music they do. The atmosphere was just so relaxed and natural feeling. Between almost every song they stopped and talked a little bit with the audience. I got some culture shock because I've always gone to concerts in Japan so the idols speak Japanese and I can understand but since it was in Korea they spoke Korean and I was almost completely lost on what they were saying and why people laughed. I'm glad that you really really enjoyed it! AND THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR THE FAN ACCOUNT!!! I can feel the overwhelming emotions just by reading it. O.O At one point while they were talking Jongwan hit his hand on the mic stand and the audience was like 'ooo are you ok' but he laughed all nervously and said something that made everyone laugh. It was really cute. xD Also, during one of the songs Jongwan came through the aisles! Since I got that back aisle seat he walked right past me~!! There is no way he didn't see me. :D At some other point the fans were trying to get Jaekyong (and Jaewon?) to sing. Jaewon pulled the mic over his head and had to look upward to be able to talk into it and everyone was laughing at him. They ended up not singing. I think Jongwan said something about how he particularly wanted to sing the next song. Jongwan is just too cute ;; like how does he look so young in pictures??? does he really look young??? I also really want another cover by the Jung Jaewon Band :P Also!! If I heard it correctly, NELL IS COMING TO JAPAN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! When they announced it a few fans started cheering and Jongwan seemed surprised and asked if there were any Japanese fans in the audience. I raised my hand partway and heard the people behind me being confused XD Next goal for you: meeting them in Japan :3 Another was a couple. The guy clearly loves NELL but his girlfriend didn't seem like she could care less. She sat for most of the concert and around halfway she started fussing with him and they left. I hope he breaks up with her. I'm single and I love NELL too~ ;D I should have been in that seat watching the concert instead *hmph* Its a silly thing but I LOVED how much confetti they used during the concert. It really created such an awesome atmosphere and the lighting with the background was stunning and matched their music so well! My only disappointment really is that they didn't perform Green Nocturne, which you know is my favorite NELL song. I was so hopeful but it never happened. :/ I admit that when I watch fancams I repeat the confetti-spewing thing a few times before I am satisfied.. Don't lose hope, maybe they will perform Green Nocturne when they go to Japan~ One last thing~ the goods. I didn't buy the picture frame (which I mildly regret) but I did get the slogan towel and buttons which came with a poster and the plastic bag. I also...got you some buttons with a poster too :3 So~ if you hit me up with your addy I can send them your way. Habitual Irony 913 Posted May 15, 2016 Author Share Posted May 15, 2016 I really did enjoy it. When I was in the lobby waiting with everyone to be let in I had to try really hard not to cry. People probably thought I was crazy because I just kept smiling like an idiot and wiping my eyes. Also, it seems like majority of the fans are boys. There were girls too. I should go to more NELL concerts. I want to marry a NELL fanboy XD. There was one super cute guy who came over and leaned against the wall next to me but I got shy and didn't say anything. We both waited long after they started to let people in before we went in. Jongwan was super handsome! Not only does he look young he also gives off a young vibe. To me he looks like Sungkyu's older brother. When he walked through the aisle people were reaching out to touch him but when he got to me I shrunk away. Idol complex. xD I've always had idol complex even with normal people growing up so being around an actual 'idol' its hard for me. I don't know yet where I'll be moving to in August. Right now Korea is looking the most realistic but it keep changing. I would prefer to stay in Japan...I think. I got a lot of culture shock being in Korea. Japan and Korea are so very different. If I'm still in Japan I will absolutely go see NELL. I would be living a lot closer to Tokyo/Osaka/Fukuoka so I'd actually be able to see a lot more concerts. It's ok. I knew it would be overseas shipping. Pretty much everyone is overseas to me. It's just been the two of us in here for so long and I wanted to be able to share this experience with you. I was hoping they'd give me a second bag too but they didn't. I actually thought there would be more female fans... seems like I was wrong XD I wonder how brave people can be to reach out to touch singers HAHAHA I'm afraid of accidentally assaulting them ;; I guess I'll PM you the address?
