I guess I only say that because I don't hear about them often. Like when I ask people who they like they don't list them but I think most people who have heard Nell do love them. I don't know yet. I plan to stay in Asia but its a job thing since I'm a foreigner. I can't go to the concert since I need to use that time to prepare for my move next year. They keep us pretty busy so my only chance is a vacation. I had it wrapped up in clothes but the seam was a bit lifted and now one side is opened so it doesn't close up the way its supposed to. Same. The simple suggestion that anyone could ever, in any way, 'replace' Nell was infuriating. The person made the statement that Nell "isn't young you know" and they "may not stay in Woollim forever". I reprimanded the person for using the word replace since I understand the new band will be added and will expand the power of Woollim but that doesn't mean Nell would be replaced by them. Even though they are an 'indie' band, they still have quite a large number of fans... plus there are still artists even 40- 50 years old still surviving in the industry. Nell's music is, honestly timeless and I'm sure it will be enjoyed by a range of listeners from different age groups. They won't be replaced so easily. Bias mode detected here but: replaced? Really? I think it's actually quite insulting to say that. I swear, I hate it when people claim a newer artist will replace an existing one. Every group is different. In my honest opinion, it is more likely for (idol) groups to 'takeover' other (idol) groups. Idol groups 'replacing' a legitimate band? It's hard, try again NOW PERFECT PICTURE TO FIT THE SITUATION *listens to angst Nell songs to fit my mood* I am so glad I have you!!! You are the only person I know who loves Nell as much as I do. That being said, there are plenty of people who love Nell so it's not like we are the only ones haha Well actually Woollim is about to debut a boy idol group and then follow them up with a new band. The person was saying the band will replace Nell not the idol group. Though they did hint that the idol group might replace Infinite which they followed up by saying 'not really' so I felt like that was even more slight on Nell since they didn't do the same when they suggested Nell would be replaced. I really can't stand when people say artists are old. How does age matter when you have a talent? As long as they CAN sing then they can be singers. Can we please look at all the music industries around the world??? There are TONS of older artists who are hella popular both idol and indie. The problem with kpop (imo) is that the fans seem to crave the next best thing instead of treating it like music. I love the music. I will love the music forever. Yes my idols and artists will get older but so will I. The artist's age doesn't stop me from liking their music. That idea is so ridiculous to me. That is why a new group or band wouldn't 'replace' anyone. They will appeal to both new and old fans. Some fans will fall in love with them and some won't. The great thing about not being an 'idol' is that most of Nell's fans aren't looking for that next thrill and genuinely love them for their music which they will continue to do no matter how many other groups debut. I really really REALLY love Nell. They have such a unique sound that I feel speaks directly to my soul. Btw! I saw your Jongwan award and now I really want it too!! About to go request it right now. Trading Kei for it momentarily but I'll get her back as soon as I have enough posts. I'm planning to send a giant package to Woollim next week. In it are gifts for all the Woollim artists and staff that I know of. Question, since its my first time sending to Nell I'm a bit concerned. You do think Woollim accepts fan gifts for them the same way they do Infinite and Lovelyz right? I'm also a bit worried about JOO, Jisun and Minsuk. I've been using it to study Korean and now I feel ready to show my love for the other artists though it'll only be one letter and a gift for them all. For the staff I'm thinking of just sending a lot of food they can eat without trying to know names. ^^;; LOLOLOLOL that picture! It is pretty intense XDDD It only costs 250k won to get it?
