Anyone still play Animal Crossing?

I bought New Leaf last year around March, but I never got around to playing it until now I'm a fool.

Some general questions: Favorite game of the four (GC, WW, CF, NL)? Favorite/Least Favorite Villager and Villager Personality? Do any of your towns have a "theme"? Do you think Nook is a shady mofo?

 

I've only played the portable Animal Crossing games, but from what I'm seeing NL is superior to WW in a whole bunch of ways. My favorite personality would be Snooty and I guess my least favorite would be Jock, but I haven't seen much of the Smug/Uchi. I have yet to give any of my towns a theme; I left my WW town as ugly wilderness, but I want to get one for my NL town.

I used to play, one of my faves, right after harvest moon. But I got bored because for one, I only had WW, and two, my village was shit. And considering how I was like 7 and didn't know what Resetti's job was, I always reset my game. Now my village is full of weeds and I've just given up completely.

Ah! I was just tweeting about this today!! What is your gamer code thing? I just found my DS and I'm charging it up. I am going to clean up my town and start playing again. Maybe we can visit each other in the game and exchange fruit?

My favorite personalities, judging by who I like in my down, are normal, snooty and peppy!

 

I like smug villagers if they're cute... and cranky ones after you become friends are cute because they're like... tsundere for you.

 

New Leaf is definitely my favorite of all of the games, but I think the ones I spent the most time playing were the first one for the Gamecube ad Wild World. I also had City Folk, but I only played it once or twice.

 

Most of my towns end up having a theme, and it's usually music. My last town was named 'Note' and my character was named 'Symphony.' This time it's 'Treble' and my characters are Lyric, Clef and Bass. My brother also does themes, and his downs were Mealtown, with the villagers Pancakes, Waffles, Milk and Muffin, and Calendar, with the villagers August and June.

 

...I like my brother's themes more.

I've played every Animal Crossing game, and I played New Leaf from when it was released up until like December of last year.

 

My favorite game would be New Leaf, favorite villager personality is definitely smug with my favorite villager being Zell <3 Least favorite would be Jock. I've never had a theme for my towns.

city folk was so much better (maybe its because hacking it was a lot of fun for me and i got used to that) 

i wish there was a way to hack the new leak one...

I've been restarting a couple of times until I get a town with at least one villager I want to keep around for awhile. I think I'm just going to give up on that, with hundreds of villagers the game can choose from the odds seem slim. I'll just stick with the cool guys, like Vladimir... I think the only Cranky animals I like are the Wolf ones.

 

I wonder if there's going to be a Wii U Animal Crossing game...I mean, the villager is in the the Smash game, right? I want to experience the wonderful feeling of getting Sea Bass in the winter in even more HD. There is never enough.
