JAdoreKPop14 31 Posted November 21, 2014 Share Posted November 21, 2014 So I was meeting up with a friend tonight after years of not speaking and I surprised him when I told him I'm into KPop. He was in a state of disbelief and said, "How can you listen to Kpop when you don't even know what they are saying?" I told him that I looked up the lyrics of every song that I liked but he seemed dissatisfied. I was wondering, what are the 3 main reasons why you like KPop? Could be you prefer it over most genres or that you are just into it, but I want to know 3 main reasons why you have to have KPop in your life and are happy it exists. My reasons: 1: It is refreshing from most of the mainstream pop, hip-hop and r&b that I have been listening to all my life. 2: Unique, modern, colourful, and varying concepts, graphic design, art direction and videography. 3: The music... You don't need to understand everything to enjoy it; it's basically a universal language. I like listening to Spanish and French music alot as well. The MVs/performances are much more appealing for me than North American MVs. 3. I guess a part of me still wants to find something that could root me in Asian culture while living outside of Asia. There's so much kpop out there so I always have something new to listen to. 2. I am in love with the live performances, I love seeing the new stages and choreography that go with a new concept from my favorite groups and artists 3. The industry never stops moving.
