What do you think of the Hollywood section?

I listen to western music at times but Hollywood doesn't interest me much and most of the threads I see popping up seem to be about Britney Spears (got over her in 2001 or so), Justin Bieber, Selena Gomez and ratchet people who are mostly known for shit they write on twitter.

Would like to see a bit more variety in the Hollywood thread because it's often a bit limiting in terms of the topics being discussed. It's quite a bit of the usual acts that are being discussed and there isn't much discussion occurring. Actively use The Hollywood section because The Unsaturated Thread is lovely and we have tons of great discussions and share music in the thread. Would like to see a bit more variety from the Hollywood section but it's still quite lovely and use it quite a bit.

Oh yes I do.  But my knowledge in Western music is not as profound as it is expected to be and I don't follow that many Western singers nowadays.  I'm more interested in the things that happen over in the East Asian entertainment world.  Its a surprise to me, since I've grew up in America my whole life.  But then again, being raised in a very traditional East Asian style family, its only natural that I'd be more interested in East Asian Pop culture than Western Pop culture.

I go on Popoverdose which is mainly Western music with its own Asian pop section so if I want to talk about Western music I can do it there. I only looked in the Hollywood section here like twice because I come on here to have in depth talks about Asian music not Western because I don't even care about it anymore. Music stopped being good in like the end of 2011 and these days there is not one single good song that is always played on the radio sigh
