11-04-14 So a couple weeks old... not sure if any of you guys watched this, but it was when Youngji+Jackson guested on Sunny's FM Date.

 

 

Around 22 min mark

Jackson and Youngji were talking about how they're super happy because they're doing something they like (being an idol), even if they are really tired all the time.

-----------------------------

Sunny: ...But you're both busy working.

Youngji: But I don't put it that way. Rather than calling it work, I'm doing something I like.

Jackson: Right

Youngji: So I really like it. Others are doing their stuff while I'm doing my stuff like this.

Sunny: Others are going to school studying and you're doing your job having activities and being a celebrity.

Youngji: I'm so happy for this. And I'm finding every day is bringing happiness. I'm so so so so happy.

Sunny: Jackson, what about you?

Jackson: It's about the same. I'm so happy, because I'm doing what I like. Even with lack of sleep, I'm happy. After work, I just fall asleep, and I'm happy about that!

Youngji: Right, right! You know when you fall asleep right away

Jackson: Because I'm doing what I like

Sunny: Because you're doing things you like. No matter how I look at it, that saying is envied by many, right?- "Because I'm doing things I like" - I'm glad that both of you are doing things you like

Jackson: It's so precious to me.

Youngji: Unnie (Sunny) are you having a hard time? It seems so... (Sunny was probably tearing up)

Sunny: It's okay...I'm fine...

Jackson: What about you, Noona?

Sunny: What do you think? It has already been 8 years... Although I'm also doing things that I like...(Youngji crying in the background). I really like it...even now. Why...why Youngji? Don't cry because of me. Youngji don't cry, I'm okay.

Jackson: Don't cry. Tears are flowing.

Sunny: Of course, of course I'll stay strong. It's okay.

Youngji: Please don't cry.

 

:rlytearpls:  :._.: I don't know, this made me really sad. Seems like she's suffering a lot. On Roommate, Nana/Gukjoo were worried for her too because she was losing weight+stressed :/ And then there was also another time when Sunny was swaying (probably from exhaustion), lost her balance, and almost fell over her chair. It's sad too because I don't think she even gets to rest at home because of 24/7 surveillance and Roommate

I think she was just tired from all the hectic schedule that passed after 8 years of idol life. I admit that Sunny variety presence are quite fading compared to IY era. She do looks fatigue nowadays and I do not reject the assumption if she ever sharing her problems with certain roommate member.. poor baby hope she endure well all the obstacles

I agree.

 

She's the busiest member this year. She also had some problems on her stomach/ribs during the Japanese tour. And at that time she was also in a musical and was already a DJ on FM Date (if I remember correctly). So, it must really have been painful for her. I just hope she'll get her well-deserved break soon. She just looks so exhausted  :horror:

and that youngji was crying because she was laughing so hard 

 

edit: why am i getting negged? did you guys even watch the video, thats what actually happened lol.

 

youngji asked her how work is for her and sunny replied in a monotone voice that its been 8 years of course she loves it (hinting thats she tired but jokingly) that why you hear jackson's high pitched laugh right after her answer lol (and youngji is laughing too but you obviously can't hear her laughter lol) and thats why youngji is so composed when she answer a question like 4 seconds later. she was crying because it was so funny not because sunny was having a sad moment or something, you can even hear her clapping while laughing. 

 

but yeah i agree with the general message of the thread, sunny really does need to rest & youngji does also seem like the type that would easily feel for others

Not surprising. Even if you love something, when its your job for 8 years and basically takes over your life for all those years, you can get unhappy with it and feel you lost your love for it. Unlike normal people, they can't just stop their job at 6 pm. Even workaholics have free time and at least enough sleep.

 

Looking at Jackson and Youngji probably reminded her of when she just started and everything being so fresh and not having to worry about your career likely slowing down soon and having to do something else. She still has to reconcile her Soongyu vs Sunny aspects of her life and her depressive state from last year may still be affecting her.

I understand Sunny tbh. My sister is a doctor because she likes being one really really much. But after 5 years of hectic schedules, I could see she had stress and tired. Even though it's something she really like, she said there were times when she just wanted to give up. I think same things goes to Sunny.
