It seems we're one step closer to learning the truth behind the rumors circulating regarding LovelyzSeo Ji Soo as the police have revealed that they identified the individual, whom they suspect is the first to have spread the malicious posts.

The cyber investigation unit of the Seoul Mapo Police told media outlets Newsen on the 18th, "We have confirmed the identity of the netizen who is suspected to be the first individual who circulated the rumors about Seo Ji Soo. We will, however, have to investigate the individual to find out if he/she is indeed the first who circulated the rumors... At the earliest, we plan to bring in the individual for questioning this week. However, [the time period] has not yet been confirmed."

Seo Ji Soo is still currently said to be in the hospital, getting rest and treatment for her mental shock. She will be sitting out from debut promotion activities until the rumor case has been settled and she regains stability.

So glad it's almost over.

it's funny how the same day (today) the netizen made a tweet about her going to the police with her evidence, making it seem like it was her choice and not bc she got summoned.

The timing is weird.

But hopefully we can have some closure on this before the month is out.

Good. Hopefully we can find out the truth.

If Jisoo is innocent, maybe she can find the strength to join her group's promotions? That'd be nice.

If she's guilty, then justice needs to be served.
