____shawnee 4,118
I remember last year and definitely in 2012 they were all people talked about and now I don't hear anything about them. It seems like BTS is kinda taking that position, they even got invited to KCON. Does BAP still have a lot of fans?

SLAY 7,630
I'm curious as well. They had such a great start but lost all their momentum
MOO MOO 1,266
'Does BAP still have a lot of fans?' <--- that's the dumbest question you could ask. ofcourse they still have fans, but they're on a hiatus so ofcourse you're not gonna hear anything from them. IntelligentYou 2,661
At one point they were really popular but I'm not sure what happened. At this point I would say VIXX has overtaken their spot.

✨ Ass Fat ✨ 9,598
their last Korean c omeback was in febuary in which they won music shows in so i'd say they're still relatively popular they're on a hiatus right now as well
BadBadNotGood 11,616
BAP aren't even popular in Korea really. You barely see I-fans talking about them outside of their artist page I guess. Personally, I lost interest in them after Bad Man.

black pearl 802
not so much in korea. Think their hype sizzled out due to similar groups like bts debuting. Then they started to go overseas to Japan and U.S. But atm... they taking a break by TS as they say they needed rest. This came right after rumors bap was gonna disband. Still not sure what's going on there tho...

eternal glow 6,196
I kind of wonder too since I've been hearing less and less about them. Granted, they are on 'hiatus' right now so maybe that explains it a bit. I personally feel like they are at a position where they aren't getting more popular or losing fans. As for me personally, I was a follower from the start but lost interest after Oneshot.

Sybil 1,780
I think they definitely lost momentum from the "badass rivals of EXO" position they gained in 2012, but tbh I would have been pretty surprised if they kept it for long. I think it's just that for a pretty sizable amount of time BAP was constantly dishing out new content every couple of months, so when that no longer became the norm it felt like they "disappeared". I think TS ent. feared that the general public would forget about BAP, and that's the reason they "wouldn't give them a break"... but it still kinda happened anyway. But what can ya do? sakura_holic 1,543
Firstly, yes they do have fans, that's kinda obvious.. Secondly, B.A.P has yet to gain public recognition of some sort in Korea just like a lot of the other groups being mentioned in this thread. Internationally, they have a pretty good and loyal fandom.. Thirdly, you don't hear about them because we don't bother to post about them outside our artist thread because we are a lazy fandom and we like to keep to ourselves because there is just so much unnecessary hate towards them every time anyone makes a thread.. Finally, they are on a hiatus, when they do have a comeback will be the time we'll actually know whether they are still popular or not depending on how much attention they get during it.. The reason why people hate exo fans is because some of them, like you go around everywhere saying my "oppa's are the best" when its irrelevant and unnecessary and the rest of the fandom cops shit.
