Has a movie ever made you cry? What movie was it?

I have only cried over one movie. Oddly enough this movie is A Goofy Movie. I only watched it twice once when I was 5 and once when I was 7. How mean Max is to Goofy just really upset me. I remember the possum show scene upset me, I haven't watched it in so long it probably isn't as upsetting as I remember. All I remember is Max punches a possum and tells Goofy that he's a loser and that everyone hates him and then Goofy cries or something like that. My sister still teases me over how emotional that movie gets me.

I have cried in so many movies tbh.

I think the first time I cried in a movie was when I was watching The Notebook. I sobbed for a good twenty minutes after it ended.

Other movies that made me cry that I can think of right now:
Steel Magnolias

Million Dollar Baby

Fried Green Tomatoes (I have never cried more in my life tbh)

And so many more

Hachiko and Lion King

Oh god I started to watch Hachiko and I got to the part where the guy didn't come back from the train station. I just couldn't continue I knew that movie was going to make me a wreck, I just love dogs too much. I plan to finish it one day

I cry over movies and sympathy for the characters more often than I do over my own problems and myseries xDD

The last one I remember being Hachiko as well...I dunno why exactly but I basically bawled my eyes out by the end of that movie. Maybe because the love a pet has for its owner is more pure than many of human relationships, be it friendship or a romantic relationship...they don't have sexual desires towards humans and no ulterior motives (besides food maybe, but my cat for example always comes back to us even tho she finds food at the front door of the neighbour's house (that woman feeds her own cats outside) She knows she belongs here and not anywhere else.).

Deathly Hallows Part Two. I sobbed ok.

Well I wasn't sobbing since the things that happened as a reader of the books I already knew...and I can only cry over something once.  xD

But I shed a tear or two at the end cause the Harry Potter Franchise coming to an end kind of meant my childhood was coming to a definite end as well. In a symbolic way cause it was with me all the way through. I started reading the books when I was 9 and watched the last movie when I was 19, it was pretty emotional ;;

Am I loser if I only cried in Titanic and The Deathly Hollows when Dobby died:._.:

No other movie has an effect on me  -_-

I didn't cry at that part probably because I knew it was coming (having read the book), but it was definitely such an emotional moment.  I was probably more upset about it while reading the book though.

Yeah, I read the books so I already knew. I guess just seeing it acted out just made it sadder for me. But the main reason I was crying was the same as you. It was like another door to my childhood was closed with a lock and it just tore my heart. I came out the movies with a tear-stained face and my whole family was laughing at me </3
