What    I see, I see. LOEN is pretty confidential about their trainees, so I understand. Maybe they're trying to find younger idols? Whatever it is, I hope LOEN knows what they're doing. Vista and Dreamer had such amazing reception when they came out but the rest of Fiestar and History's songs didn't catch the public's interest at all (even if they're all my bops). Sunny Hills is in the same position.

 

Is Melody Day under LOENTree or just a 1theK sponsored artist? I heard they were a collab group.

Melody Day isn't listed as an official artist under any of LOEN's sites or references however all of Melody Day's albums have been published and promoted by LOEN so my guess is that they were created and established by Viewga Entertainment, who made an agreement with LOEN to publish their material. LOEN also appears to have some creative direction as the director of their single "#LoveMe" is a well known director with a budget probably far out of Viewga's reach. 

 

Another interesting fact is that MD were established in 2012 but only released soundtracks under Viewga and didn't formally debut until 2014 with an EP published by LOEN which tells me they were in the basement until the contract was formed.

I'm sorry about that, it seems after the lineup changed they all adjusted their social media. The only members still active are kween Seulgi and J-Feel. Yoonseok was active until very recently when he made his account private. Seungheon and Jun have switched groups so you can find their updated information here.

Noooo I just call Seulgi a kween because he has very delicate visuals.   Although at this point since the LOEN x YUEHUA project may be cut they could possibly be anything. 

 

I can't see Loen letting go of a massive Chinese connection in the midst of all the buzz happening there with companies right now though. Hopefully this means some super cute Chinese boys~

Mnet has announced the launch of new male trainee survival prgram, '[/size]BOY24'![/size]

 

Having previously garnered attention as a male version current Mnet show 'Produce 101', the survival program opened its official audition page this past January. Currently, the show is reported to have recruited trainees from numerous major Entertainment companies, including YG, JYP,SM, Woollim, Jellyfish, Mystic, LOEN, DSP, Yue Hua, and more! Due to flooding numbers of applicants, the show has extended its audition deadline until March 11th. 

 

'BOY24' will be a never-before seen Kpop Performance Project, with 24 top trainees participating in various performance missions for the duration of 365 days! Mnet has revealed that the first performance by the top 24 will take place this coming August.
